"Alright, so we are headed to Jax Faber's?" Tommy asks for the fifteenth time.
Everyone in the car, excluding myself lets out a groan. Brady even goes as far as to repeatedly hit his head against the back of Adrian's seat. I stop myself from laughing as I watch everyone begin to yell at Tommy for asking again.
"Come on man, she already told you like a bajillion times. We. Are. Going!" Eric states.
Tommy looks at me, just for a moment. I shoot him a smile and I nod as I show him a thumbs up. Sighing, he turns on his blinker and gets into the lane next to us. Tommy, unfortunately, was the only one who knew where Jax lived. He also knew that Jax kept his window open at night, which to me sounded fairly dangerous, but then I remember Jax is a boy, so he doesn't really have to worry about that. Though I'm sure if his crowd of admirers knew, he would.
"Afterwards," I began drawing everyone's attention to me, "I vote we get slurpees."
"Cass, it's almost one a.m."
"And? One am is the best time to get slurpees, slurpees and runs to Walmart to cause havoc and grab Ben and Jerry's. Though three am is fun to do that too."
Everyone stares at me shocked except for Adrian who just smiles as if it was hysterical none of the others knew these things. Next to me Fletcher blinks and behind me Eric clears his throat.
Oh no, what is the dumbbutt going to say now?
"I think it's super cool that Cass is a total badass." Brady, on the other side of me, states stopping him before he can.
"She isn't a badass-" Fletcher began causing everyone in the car to boo him as I forced back giggles.
Cursing fairly colorfully Fletcher regains control and remarks, "Let me finish you heathens... As I was saying Cass isn't a badass, yet. But after tonight she will be known for all different kinds of badassery, first and foremost stealing the phone of the most well known and liked guy in our year. All I'm going to say is good luck."
I smirked at him and then winked. Suddenly I feel a bit of nervous energy. I realize how much of a bad idea this is, then I blink a few times. Letting out a breath, I reach up and pull my hair into a messy bun, the car begins to slow to a stop and I look up and see a fairly normal sized house.
And here I was thinking the prince of popularity lived in a mansion or castle... it looks like he's just as normal as the rest of us.
"Wait, Jax doesn't live in a mansion?" Brady asks.
A laugh escapes me and I choke as I try and force it back. Everyone begins laughing as well and then I let out yet another yawn.
I cannot get sleepy right now, I have a job to do. While granted that job is theft, it is a job regardlessRaising my head I wait for a moment while Fletcher slips out of the car, I follow him and then take a few steps away while he climbs back in. I move towards the driver's window and Tommy gives me a worried look.
"His room is just right there."
I look to where Tommy was pointing and see an open window on the side of the house. Lucky for me there was a tree right next to the house that would help me get to the roof hip, from there I could scale my way to his window. And then when I was done I could just jump out the window and slide down to the edge where I could drop for a quick getaway. It doesn't look at if it's a far drop.
I nodded then took off for the tree, I made it there fairly quickly, reaching up I grabbed onto the nearest branch of the tree and began pulling myself up. I let out a heavy breath as I climbed up the tree, reaching out and I felt the lip of the roof hip. I drag myself away from the tree and over to the roof. With a slight breath I dusted myself off and began climbing.
