The Metropolitan Museum. Home of the new ancient greek history gallery.

Mia would honestly rather be absolutely anywhere other then here.

Literally anywhere.

But alas, where Percy goes Mia is bound to follow. It's all part of the job.

Walking up the stairs of the met, Mia has planted herself walking right behind Percy and Grover. With a safe distance between them of course. But she's just close enough to keep an eye out for any enemies.

Mia's been trained to keep a watchful eye out at all times. So this means she was able to tell that Percy was just about to trip on one of the many stairs leading to the entrance of the museum.

With a small smirk lacing her face she begins to walk a little faster to catch up to the demigod. Right as she's about to pass the two boys she turns around to look at them.

Light blue meets dark as she sultry says, "Don't trip." before continuing up the stairs.

In a type of daze Percy's eyes follow her retreating figure as she gracefully walks. Scoffing, Grover lightly shoves him to snap him out of his trance. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Percy turns to Grover in question.

Before he can get out any words he suddenly trips over his own feet sending him on his way to the ground before Grover catches him.

Feeling a burning gaze on him Percy looks up to the top of the stairs to see Mia with the same smirk adorning her face. Catching his eyes, Mia shoots him a flirtatious wink before walking into the building.

When the class enters the Metropolitan Museum they are immediately directed to the new Greek Gallery.

"There are 12 Olympian gods." Mr. Brunner says getting the attention of the chattering students.

Pointing to three statues he continues, "The Big Three are the brothers Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades." Mia's eyes are immediately drawn to Percy standing about five feet away from her with his headphones in.

"They attained power by overthrowing their father, Cronus, chopping him into little pieces."

Rolling her eyes Mia mumbles under her breath, "Well that's a little dramatic."

"The three gods have been rivals ever since. Always arguing. Always threatening war."

Mr. Brunner directs the class to look on the other side of the room as he continues explaining, "On several occasions, they would come down to Earth and um." he pauses before looking at Mia.

"How shall I put this?" he sighs.

"Hook up?" Grover being the smartass he is cuts him off. The class erupts into laughter at the crude remark.

Nodding, Mr. Brunner agrees, "They would hook up with mortals."

At this statement Mia clenches her jaw tight and closes her hands into fists, digging her nails into her palms.

"The children of these unions, were half god, half human." he informs the teenagers.

Feeling a burning stare on her, Mia turns her head to the side to lock eyes with Miss Dodds. Mia expects her to look away having been caught but instead she does the opposite. So the two of them remain in their stare off daring the other to make the first move.

"Can anyone tell me what they were called?" The question catches Mia off guard forcing her to break eye contact as she directs her attention to Mr. Brunner.

Brunner looks to her as if asking her to answer. With a clenched jaw and tight fists, Mia subtly shakes her head warning him not to call on her.

Sensing the hostility, Mr. Brunner diverts his attention to the other demigod in the room. "Percy."
