Chapter 2: Accusations

Jungkook POV

*45 minutes later*

As soon as I got home, I took off my shoes and put on some pants, I didn't feel like wearing a shirt today. I collapsed on my bed and slept. I distantly remembered Addaline's missed calls but I was too exhausted to call her, so I guess I'll explain tomorrow.

   I called Yahui to my office again for the tenth time today to admire her beauty. What was this feeling? I just wanted to embrace her in my arms while she looks at me with her sweetest smile... I finally decide to make a move. Yes, I know I have a girlfriend but who said I couldn't have two at once?

  I go up to Yahui as she walks in, closing the door behind her. I lock her in place by lightly pushing her against the wall and pressing my hand against the wall. I look her up and down admiring how gorgeous she looks in her white ruffled blouse with her black skirt matching it. I lean in close to kiss and then suddenly...

   *BUZZ*  *BUZZ*

        9 a.m.

   I wake up breathing heavily in shock about my dream. I dreamt of kissing... no, dating my secretary. Even worse, I dreamt about cheating on Addaline. I was disgusted at myself. Why would I ever dream of this? I don't like Ms. Park and she doesn't like me. I have Addaline already... The girl who has been with me my whole life. "Maybe I should keep my distance from her so that I could get my mind off of this unusual dream." I thought while heading to the bathroom.

   I walk into the shower hoping to relieve some stress and to forget about my dream. But I keep wondering, "Why her?"

       AT WORK

  "Yes the sales tax is decreasing..." the representative of X company says as their words fade farther. I just can't stop thinking about it. This meeting was supposed to help us create a new item to sell to help our business grow larger, but my brain won't work, I can't get this stupid dream out of my head!

  "What do you think Mr. Jeon?" says the assistant of the representative. "Mr. Jeon?" people around me repeat. Then finally someone yells, "MR. JEON!"

  I got startled by the sudden loud noise and I remembered that I was still at a meeting. "I'm sorry I dozed off for a second, please keep going," I announced forcing a smile.

  The meeting went smoothly I assumed because nobody questioned me after that small incident. As I'm walking to my office, I see Ms. Park talking to her co-workers with my schedule in her hand.

   She waved goodbye to her co-workers and started walking towards me. We made eye contact and I looked away. As she was walking towards me she sighed and said, "Morning Mr. Jeon! This is your–"

   I moved right past her shoving her shoulder a bit and started to pace to my office. I probably looked crazy from the stares the people were giving me. I didn't mind I just needed to avoid Yahui and go to Addaline. "Maybe I can take her out on a date today.." I thought.

  I went into my room to see an angry face sitting in my chair, arms crossed, and one leg on top of the other. I give her an uneasy smile. I have a bad feeling about this. She stands up walking towards me, I turn around to close the door and she snaps.

  "Jungkook, are you fucking kidding me right now? I called you 52 fucking times, texted you a hundred times worried sick and you don't even bother answering?!" She screams looking at me dark-eyed.

  "Honey, I'm really sorry-" I say trying to calm her down.

  "Shut it. I've had enough of your bullshit."

  "Addy, I was going to call but I was so tired after work, I went to sleep at 2 am! I almost fell asleep while driving. Please understand-"

  "Oh right, sorry. You were too busy having fun with your secretary." She remarked in a hostile tone.

  I felt my blood boiling at this point. So she yells at me because I couldn't answer her messages and calls and now she making accusations about me cheating on her? Yeah, fuck no. "Addaline Yoo. Shut up will you? I'm sorry that I had a lot of paperwork and that I fell asleep. Maybe next time don't make accusations about somebody. You know my past, and now you're accusing me of cheating?" I declared giving her a disgusted look.

  Addaline looked at me shocked by my sudden outburst. Her face visibly softened. "Babe... I'm sorry," She said almost whispering. She tried to hug me but I pushed her away.

  I scoffed. "Get out Addaline."  

  "But-" She pouted.

  "I said get out Addaline Yoo," I said glaring at her with a cold stare.

  Her mouth opened and closed as if she was about to say something, but she quickly turned around and walked out of my office.

  I was so frustrated. She accused me of cheating with my secretary, while this whole time I was trying to ignoring Ms. Park. I rubbed my forehead in annoyance trying my best to forget what just happened and start my work.

  I walked over to my desk and collapsed onto my chair. Fuck... I wanted to forget my past for a reason.
