Jungkook's POV

I looked over to the pile of paperwork that was sitting on my table. I decided to finish some paperwork to distract myself from my argument with Addaline. And then I remember...the day that my dad left. The day that my life turned into hell. He left me with a woman that was supposedly my "mother," though we had no connection to each other.

"Oh right, sorry. You were too busy having fun with your secretary." Those words kept replaying in my head. I vividly remember when my so-called dad took me to an unknown woman's house and left me there. I couldn't help but feel bad for the woman I was left with at first. That is until she started mistreating me. No. Abusing me was more accurate.

What is this? Why did she suddenly accuse me? Addy knows. She knows my past. I couldn't bring myself to hate her. I've known her since the start. She's been there for me, she loves me.

A pen rolled off the table and dropped to the ground making me flinch, I zoned out again. I picked up the pen and put it back in its place. I rubbed my temple to focus again and tried to finish the last two papers left. As I was signing the papers I remember the last words my "mother" told me before I got kicked out. "Good luck getting your dumbass anywhere in life."

I chuckled lightly. Look where I am now "mom."

Yahui's POV

I noticed Jungkook's unusual behavior, he avoided me when I tried to give him his schedule and looked alarmed when he saw me, "maybe he's in a rush," I thought. I followed him, but I soon lost him in the crowd so I assumed that he went to his office. As I was walking up to his office I heard muffled sounds. I attempted to lean against the door to try and make out at least a word or two, but instead, the door slammed open and I stepped back in a panic. Then I saw her.

Addaline Yoo. She looked irritated for some reason. Then she turned to face me, giving me a disgusted look, and snarled, "Out of the way bitch."

I stood there, in shock. Did she just call me a bitch? Who does this hoe think she is? I turn to her and say, "Manners you thirsty ass gold digger."

The younger scoffed and walked away from the scene.

This girl is acting like a child, I thought, rolling my eyes. I turned back to the door to hand Jungkook his schedule when I suddenly heard a loud bang. Startled, I leaned against the door hoping to hear him talking to make sure that nothing happened to him. Of course, I'm going to worry. I'm his secretary after all... The co-workers were nowhere to be found, most likely in their offices or on their break. To my relief, I heard mumbling.

Screw it, I'm gonna do it.
