Jungkook's POV
"You... wanna leave Addaline and elope? You're a rich motherfucker, so I don't think we'll have any money problems. Let's fly to Australia, yeah?"
Startled, I moved back trying to take in what she just said to me. I was trying my best to hold my laugh but failed and we ended up both laughing together. Me? Moving to Australia away from Addaline? Ha. Funny.
Then for some reason, I felt close to her for once instead of a secretary to the boss relationship. I mean all we ever do is exchange a few phrases to each other about the business. I felt relieved as if I was being myself instead of a guy who lives up to his "girlfriend's" expectations. Just consists of me giving her money, taking her out to dinner, and once in a while having a heart-to-heart conversation.
Ms. Park brought me back to my thoughts and asked, "So...are we going to Australia or?"
Her sweet chuckle filled the room and I joked, "Why not? I got nothing to lose anyway."
The younger walked towards me and her hands moving to my tie and pulled me close and I heard her whisper, "Well, see you soon Mr. Jeon." Then she walked away.
I walked to my desk laughing lightly at what had just happened.
Yahui's POV
I closed the door behind me and let out a heavy sigh. Why was I enjoying it? What am I thinking, he has a freaking girlfriend!
I started walking to my office to do some paperwork and forget whatever just happened. "So much for the comforting..." I thought, rolling my eyes.
I wonder what Jungkook and Addaline were fighting about. He mentioned that it wasn't that serious but...I may be overthinking again.
Whatever, I need to finish my paperwork; I won't let his private matters get into the way of my work.
AFTER WORK
Yahui's POV
Work was so hectic today, we had several meetings with other companies and sorting paperwork.
I was washing my face when I suddenly thought of the interaction with Jungkook from earlier. "You... wanna leave Addaline and elope? You're a rich motherfucker, so I don't think we'll have any money problems. Let's fly to Australia, yeah?" Oh no. Did I actually say that? How am I going to face him tomorrow? My ears turned red as I buried my face in the towel from embarrassment.
I stared at myself in the mirror flustered. "Just smile and wave tomorrow, Yahui, you'll be fine," I whispered trying to calm down.
