I fell backside on my bed, holding the bag of chips against my chest with happiness. I stared up at my ceiling, a small grin painted upon my face. I slowly sat upright to look at the chip bag, realizing that Shidesu possibly has a kind heart but only so rarely uses his kindness for the best.

I popped open the bag of chips to notice most of the chips had turned into crushed up crumbs. I raised my eyebrows with a sigh, "Maybe.. he isn't all that nice." I commented.

My cellphone vibrated from within my school bag, setting down the chip bag to only slide my cellphone out of my bag. The screen lit up where a message notification appeared by Osano, opening the message, he questioned if I got home safely.

"So annoying."

I spoke my mind and sent the message. I swept my hair behind my ear as the moment began repeating itself in my head, finding the kindness from the most ultimate rebel in the school, was starting to become one of the things I was beginning to adore.

Osano messaged back with angry emojis before saying playful insults that almost made me want to challenge him. I turned off my cellphone, rolling over with soft groans as I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I wished I thought of the phrase 'Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover' more often than I pleased.

I wondered if there was a deeper side to Shidesu. Questions about him had began circling my brain in a way that could make me think about him more.

I wanted to know more about him.

The night flew across the clock as I found myself sitting at the dining table, breakfast of eggs and rice in front of me. I had only just picked up the chopsticks and yet, my hands weren't picking up the food. My mind was on other things than food, other things including boys.

I picked up a clump of rice between the ends of my chopsticks before bringing it up to my lips and biting down. I noticed the rice was slightly undercooked, the rice being a bit chewy had left a sour taste in my mouth.

Knocks became present at the front door, immediately thinking of Osano, I stood up from my spot at the dining table to begin making my way towards the door. I opened the door to see that my thoughts were right. Osano stood on my porch with his arms folded above his stomach.

"Let me guess, you're not ready." He sighed.

I rolled my eyes, descending back into my home. "Let me take my time. I'm trying to eat breakfast." I sat myself back at the dining table.

"I'll never rush you," Osano said as he stepped inside and closed the front door. "Because you're too slow already and if I rush you, you would forget things."

I snorted at his input of my memory. "I'll have you know, my memory is better than yours." I said as I took a bite of the rice.

Osano scoffed as he hovered over me from behind my shoulder, internally and externally annoyed. "You couldn't even remember to cook rice right, dumbo."

"That's just because—"

"No," Osano stopped me. "No excuses. If you keep cooking this bad, I might have to come early to your house to cook you breakfast every morning." He offered.

I began chuckling and laughing to his side quest of interest. He sat down in the chair across from me with a straight face, folding his arms. I looked at him with questionable eyes, "Oh you're serious?" I asked.

"I'm serious because you're dumb and I'm smart." Osano shot a side eye at my breakfast. "Might as well say your food is screaming for help." He laughed.
