"Aishi? . ." A masculine voice questioned.
I looked up at the masculine figure. I was bombarded with a Oka twin, standing in front of me holding a leather book with a skull on the front cover. "Sorry about that."
I waved him off. "Don't be sorry, I was in the way." I told him. I noticed he couldn't look at me. He had his head turned away, avoiding my face.
"How's your club?" I asked. "Did you get any new people?"
He frowned, shaking his head. "I want new people to join. ." He responded.
I blinked, looking down the halls for anyone in sight. "Let's go to your club."
He had confusion in his face as he turned his head to look at me. "You want to go to my club? Why?" He questioned, holding his book up to his chest.
"I'm interested." I told him. "Am I not allowed to go in there yet?"
"No, I was just curious. ." He said as he took the lead and began walking down the hallway before me while I followed behind him.
I walked next to him with my school bag dangling from my hands in the front. I observed his appearance with obviousness. I couldn't stop staring when I saw his front hairs bounce each time he took a step. He appeared to be spiritual and dark, but he seemed to have the opposite on the inside.
"What are you staring at?"
I slowly looked away from him. "You look nice." I commented.
It didn't take long for us to make it downstairs to his club room. The room was decorated as dark as it possibly could. The club members were here, sitting in their comfortable chairs reading a book.
"You can join anytime if you're ever thinking of joining. ." He stated. "It would be nice to have you as apart of my club. ."
I admired the room, especially the table with a knife stuck into a skull. "I'll think about it." I stepped inside the room with a grin. The sound of the school bell echoed down the halls in an alarming manner. I sighed at the terrible timing, looking up ahead to see his club room in the near distance. I wished the bell hadn't rung at this time.
"How sad," He said. "I wish we had more time. ."
"We can see each other after school." I suggested. "If you have time."
He shook his head. "Sadly, I have to host a club meeting. ." He responded.
I exhaled. "We'll see each other eventually. See you later." I waved him goodbye with a smile.
I took my time to go upstairs to my classroom. It wasn't that far and the halls weren't as crowded as I thought they would be. I roamed past the students in the hallway and entered the designated classroom, there I saw Osano sitting at his desk with Raibaro sitting next to him.
I walked over to my desk and plopped myself in my chair. Raibaro looked over at me with a grin, waving at me. I waved back at Raibaro where he pulled out his textbooks from his school bag.
I opened up my school bag to pull out my homework that I missed out on, pulling out a pencil to go with it. I looked over the homework questions and the questions were topics that I don't remember learning. I might have to relearn what I was already taught to understand the homework.
I heard my phone vibrate within my school bag. I slid my cellphone out a pocket inside my school bag to see a text from Osano.
" Meet me on the school rooftop at lunch "
" Sure thing " I texted back.
The sound of footsteps caught my attention, snapping my head to the classroom doors on alert. I placed my phone back inside my school bag, having my attention up ahead. I observed a fairly tall man who didn't mind looking seductive. The first thing he did was grab some chalk to write something on the board, that had indicated his name.
Mr. Rana.
The other female students were giving heart eyes at him, some were even drooling. But Osano had his eyes on me, glaring me down as if taking one look at this man would get him fired up. Rana wore a deep V neck shirt that revealed most of the chest, some dark red leather pants that made his backside look like a masterpiece while also rocking some brown 1/2 heeled shoes as he was holding a textbook.
"I will be your substitute teacher for today, as you're original teacher got sick." Mido said, his voice deep and lustful. "I hope everyone will be paying attention. " He eventually began teaching the class while the female students were only paying attention to him and not what he was teaching.
Rana kept glancing at me whenever he got the chance. I could feel chills go down my spine every time I caught him looking at me or whenever I felt like he was looking at me.
The school bell rang and the class had ended, the students exiting the classroom while the teacher was staring me down as I packed up my stuff. I I saw Osano head walk out first, and I didn't follow behind. I had to stay behind because I had some questions that I couldn't figure out on my own. I could feel instant regret when I thought about asking Rana for help.
I stood at my desk, seeing Rana stand by the chalkboard erasing what he taught us. I held my school bag by the straps, walking over to his desk. I stood in front of the wooden podium, clearing my throat.
Rana turned around in questioning, grimacing at the sight of my presence. "What is it, Aishi?" He questioned.
I held out my incomplete worksheet that had some missing answers. "Can you help me with some of these questions?" I asked.
"Sure." He responded. "What questions are you stuck on?"
"These." I handed over my worksheet.
Rana spent a quarter of lunch helping me with the questions. It wasn't so bad. He was intelligent and helped me understand the questions better. He was like any other teacher, confident and helping in matters that were helpful. After he finished assisting me, I grabbed my worksheet and bowed in front of him. "Thank you."
Mido shook his head, denying my response. "That's not my kind of gratitude." He tapped his finger on his cheek. "This is the gratitude."
I clenched my school bag handles, staring at him in questioning if he was serious. Mido leaned downwards to my height. I hesitated as I went closer to him, planting a small peck on his cheek. He smirked and leaned back upwards.
"You may leave now." He said, pointing to the exit of the classroom. I bowed gratefully and exited the classroom. I wiped my lips, crumbling the paper leaving it wrinkled.
I patted my cheeks, remembering the meet up on the rooftop with Osano. I made sure I picked up my speed on my way to the rooftop. By the time I got to the rooftop, I saw Osano sitting on a bench by himself. It looked like he was about to open his bento to eat it. I walked up to him and stood in front of him.
Osano looked up at me with his brows furrowed in annoyance, setting his bento to the side. "Where were you?" He questioned.
"Sorry, Osano— I was stuck on a few questions." I apologized with a frown. "Did you want to eat lunch together?"
Osano rose from his spot on the bench, continuing to appear annoyed. He carefully grabbed a container off the bench behind him and held it out. "Obviously."
