Ashley and Emily were in the middle of a huge argument when Lucas stepped in. "I can't deal with this. Why can't we all just get along? You two seemed to get on just fine before. It's been two bloody weeks and you can't stop trying to kill each other! I have my own issues to deal with! I can't just babysit you guys while you try to bite each other's heads off", Lucas shouted, feeling very stressed out and fed up with the two girls.
Ashley and Emily stared at him. They'd never seen him like this. He never yelled or showed any negative emotion; especially, towards them.
Emily tried her best to avoid conflict between her and Ashley by avoiding her all together. Lucas hated the seperation and began to get angry at himself and depressed, feeling like he destroyed the girls' relationship. Knowing the feeling all too well, he was overwhelmed.
At home he began yelling at his siblings and screaming at his parents again. His 12 year old sister, Gabriella, was worried for him.
"Lucas, what is it? What's bugging you? You haven't eaten in days and... I saw your scars yesterday," she cried out, "Lucas, please, don't do this." Lucas looked at her and said, "Gabby, go away." "Lucas, please let me help you," Gabriella Evergreen whispered.
Lucas was getting irritated. "Just get out and leave me alone!" Lucas bit back his anger until she responded with, "No Lucas!! You need help!!"
"GABBY HOW DENSE DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I DO NOT WANT YOUR HELP! JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM!", he shouted and saw tears roll down her cheeks. When she didn't budge, he tried again, "GO, GABRIELLA! I AM SO TIRED OF YOU! SO JUST DO ME A FAVOR AND LEAVE!!" "No! I won't leave you!"
Lucas slapped her across the face, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM GABRIELLA!!!" Gabby gasped and stared into her brother's eyes, seeing nothing but rage so she ran out of his room as fast as she could, not wanting to be near him anymore. He knew that his parents were out of town so he ran down the stairs when he heard the front door slam.
Lucas bolted outside when he heard a scream.
He saw a man trying to pull her into his van and he got furious. "HEY GET YOUR PAWS OFF MY SISTER!!!!", Lucas punched the man. He looked at Lucas with a scary smile.
Lucas looked down at Gabriella whose eyes are now closed and her breathing shallow. He thought to himself, -she must've fainted during the attack! This dick has got hell to pay!-
"Shit!" Lucas exclaimed as the man ran away. Luckily, Lucas stayed with his sister rather than running after him.
Three weeks later he saw the man on a trail in the woods with a child. It was not a happy scene. The man's hands were around the kid's neck. Lucas ran toward the two and tackled that man off of the kid. The man attacked and Lucas gave the man no mercy. He beat the man to pieces while the kid ran away. The man stopped breathing 3 minutes into the beating but Lucas didn't stop. He had to pay for what he had done. To his sister, to that little boy, and to whatever other victims he had claimed.
