It's so strange, you can't recall anything from your past. You can only remember falling- falling down a deep black hole. Watching as your only light of freedom disappears as you fall. You reminisce about the feeling of your weight pulling you down farther and farther into a void of black until eventually, you feel the impact your final breaths are belaboured out of your chest.
Your life before falling is all a mystery to you. You couldn't even recall what your last name was, much less where you had come from or why you had fallen down a hole that imprisoned more than a hundred starving monsters. Yikes, what was past you thinking? Was it an accident or was it- intentional? Hopefully, your mind wasn't so dark that you dedicated your time to climb a mountain and just-
Never mind that you're certain that it wasn't for something gruesome. Maybe you'd been camping? Hopefully, you'll be able to figure that out before you make it back up to the surface. How else were you supposed to find your family? They may just recognize you first, come to you and immediately embrace you into their loving arms. Or maybe they wouldn't, you just hope they'd at least be looking for you.
You're sure they've been searching for you. You're almost confident they have.
If only—you could say for sure that you even had a family. What are the chances of you being orphaned? That's a horrible thought to wonder about but at least you're not a kid. You're twenty-two so... Who needs them anyway?
'This is so dumb...' you think, feeling a bit pathetic about your intrusive thoughts. What's the point in even trying to go to the surface anymore...
'I bet Sans wants to go to the surface' the thought crosses your mind in an instant. You're positive that every one underground would love to see the surface. You chuckle to yourself realizing that helping these monsters get to the surface is plenty of reason for you to try and break the barrier...
Holy shit,
Could you do that? Break the barrier?? What exactly was their Barrier made from? Magic!? How exactly does one BREAK a barrier? Not even the leverage of magic could help the monsters. So... How was a brittle human like you supposed to break such a powerful thing?
And-
Hypothetically you break this strong barrier, who exactly would you bring these monsters to? You're certain the police and other reinforcements would shoot these monsters on sight. And their horrifying appearance isn't going to help your case when you try to explain.
Jeez, this whole thing is a mess.
Not only are you in love with a giant possessive skeleton, but he's also insane too. You're aware that Sans isn't all that he seems. You love the big-boned skeleton but everything about him is still a mystery to you. And that can be a problem for you sometimes.
Flowey's said plenty of awful things about Sans and quite frankly, you don't blame him, Sans is an asshole. You try not to blind yourself with love too much. You are aware that other humans have fallen before you and survived, meaning Sans has had to meet a few of them. Flowey would hint that Sans was a big part of the story and had everything to do with the fate they would later meet. Guess you're lucky to have survived for this long...
Your thoughts bounce back to Flowey. You do owe him a lot and you feel incredibly guilty for telling him to go away but... He was making it so hard for you not to yell at him. You're positive that Flowey was purposely trying to get under your skin, and to be quite honest it worked. Maybe a little too well because you're still upset with him. But were you going to ruin a friendship once you find him, you'll apologize.
Your racing thoughts suddenly caused you to feel so lonely.
Both Sans and Papyrus were out for the night. They claimed to have an important job to attend to. You know they spend hours patrolling for the next fallen human...
