Chapter 3 a true source to a women's power

Jay's POV

The two men bowed their heads down at my tone. They looked at each other discreetly and then the one with green horns spoke.
"We should wait for our friends to awake before we answer any questions..young warrior.."
I cocked my eyebrow at the name they had given me then laughed darkly.
"That's fine...I can wait all night.." I spoke through my teeth getting slightly angry." At least tell me who you are so I don't have to call you green one and light blue one."
Again they looked at each other having a silent conversation before the one with light blue horns sighed
"... Peirce.." said the one with light blue horns.
"And I'm leif pretty warrior but you can call me anytime.." said the one with green horns.
I rolled my eyes at the one with green horns then looked up at the clock and waiting to see who would awaken next.
*Time skip 3 hours later*
I was leaned back in my chair subtlety tapping my finger on the arm of it. Ava had went to her room to lay down a little over an hour ago but I couldn't let my guard down keeping my eyes slightly narrowed and my weapon in my lap. I sighed softly and leaned my head back closing my eyes but keeping my ears open to hear even the slightest of movements. I had kept my guard up enough to hear the small groans come from the rest of the people in front of me then the struggling and Peirce and leif explain the situation they were in. I smelled smoke and laughed opening my eyes" the rope is fire resistant" I stated matter of factly causing their eyes to widen, "Now that we're all awake, who are you, why did you follow my sister, and what do you want" I said lowly looking over all of them 'what are demons doing here' I thought narrowing my eyes. "We don't answer to you human, now let us go." Said the one with white horns. I tilted my head at him and laughed looking at him boredly. "In case you haven't noticed you're not the one in control here, now we can do this the hard way or the easy way you choose" I said as i cracked my knuckles and squared my jaw, "Let's just say i'm really hoping you pick the easy way i don't want to have to damage those face but i will if i have to." I got up our of my chair causing all of them to look at me. "ava..!" I yelled causing her to stumble out of her room looking at me, "Go get me my bat, my badge, a bowl of cold water, and my brass knuckles" i said as i glared down at the men in front of me before i walked towards them kicking the couch away from their backs, "J-Just don't hurt them to much sissy" she said as she went to get the stuff i asked for. I nodded at her and began circling the men in front of me like a predator does to it's prey. Ava walked back in the room with the things i asked for, i put my badge on my belt and put the brass knuckles in the cold water before picking up my bat and slinging it over my shoulders, "Now," I said standing in front of them as Ava sat in my chair knowing i would show them no mercy from them trying to hurt or kidnap her, i was the sergeant of the homicide and domestic violence department after all. "Who are you?" i asked kneeling in front of them leaning against  my bat with my head tilted, "your Majesty, i would suggest giving her the information she desires or we may all end up dead." said the one with dark blue horns, "Not dead, close though" i said looking over each of them. "We'll answer your questions if you answer ours," said the one with white horns who was glaring at me, i rolled my eyes and looked back at ava who shrugged her shoulders. "fine, now start talking, who are you," i asked again pointing my bat at them. "My name is prince Asch, these are my subjects, Rhys, Noi, Pierce, And Leif, now who are you," he asked. I laughed and looked at him, "I am Police Sergeant Jaylyn, Jay for short, I work in Homicide and domestic violence, And this is my little sister Ava." I stated. They looked at me in shock, "Sergeant!?!" they all asked in unison, i nodded my head, "the youngest too" i said hearing ava laugh behind me at the looks on their faces. "Why did you follow my sister?" I asked beginning to walk around them again, "We didn't we were following the black and white spirit" Said rhys. I looked at them weirdly before a meow was heard making me look at johnny, "there it is" he said. 'Dammit Johnny' i thought looking at ava who shrugged. i rubbed my forehead as i began formulating a plan in my head, "How long have you been sergeant, and how did you get the position" I heard Asch ask. "I have been Sergeant for 4 and a half years, after being in the military, i got the position when they took our captain hostage and tried to blow up our precinct, I made sure the bomb was diffused and when they tried to shoot our captain in anger, i through myself in front of hers taking four bullets, one in my thigh, two in my side, and one in my shoulder. After that I earned my purple heart and my title." i said looking at my sister who had tears in her eyes. "Y-you risked you're life for your superior," I heard leif ask, i looked at him, "Of course I did, My captain and i were in the military together we fought side by side, she had a son, my god-son ,a little baby who i wouldn't let grow up without his mother,  and a husband who loved her more than life itself and i had no doubt wouldn't be able to handle it, to get back to when she got off of work, i had to make sure they would see her again even if it mean leaving my sister behind." i said softly lifting my shirt to show them the scars on my side. I heard them gasp before i put my shirt back down. "Now what do you want?" i asked seeing pierce looking down , noi with tears in his eyes looking at me, as the other three looked at me in curiosity and in admiration. "We are here to learn the ways of Eyarf," Rhys said, "As you have already guessed we are not from here." i nodded and looked at ava who was looking at them in shock before looking at me with fear in her eyes. "What are you going to do to us," noi asked his voice shaking. I looked back at ava watching as she processed the information, i sighed knowing this decision would be mine and mine alone. I looked them over seeing them all look at me, i looked up towards the ceiling, 'whoever is up there give me a sign, send a storm if you want them to stay, and make the ground shake if you want me to kick them out' i prayed closing my eyes. It was quiet for a couple of minutes then thunder rumbled and lightning struck as the rain came down heavily, and i knew i had my decision, I looked at ava who nodded shakily. i looked out the window as the rain cascaded down the glass before turning to the men in front of me who looked at the window in wonder. "You guys can stay here, but if you bring my sister or myself harm there will be hell to pay understood" I said as i dropped my bat putting on my brass knuckles in case they tried something, and walking over to them untying their wrists one by one starting with noi. He glanced at me as i undid the knot , and rubbed his wrists once he was free, then i moved on to rhys who thanked me once he was free and walked closer to the window, "your highness" i laughed as i undid his bindings causing him to grumble and harshly pull away from me once i was finish, I was cautious while i undid pierce's bindings it was clear to me that he had military background, he nodded at me when he was free, leif was smirking at me over his shoulder as i undid his bindings making me roll my eyes and shove him forward slightly once i was finished. I moved the couch and coffee table back to their original place. I watched from the corner of my eye as they inspected my bat and the cold water making me laugh softly. I looked at my sister and nodded signaling i would handle from here and she could go to sleep, she took johnny with her. I was gently wrapping up the rope before i took the bat from them and dumped the water out in the kitchen sink. I put the bowl back in the cabinet feeling their eyes follow my figure as i walked to my room putting my badge on my desk and putting my bat next to my bedside table then putting the rope back in the closet. I looked at the time seeing it was now too late to go get groceries. I pulled out extra blankets and pillows from my closet and walked back out to the living room dropping them on the couch. "Go to sleep we have stuff to do tomorrow" i said softly looking at them before making my way to my room. i pulled my shirt off pulling on my sports bra and a pair of shorts to sleep in, making sure i had my small can of mace underneath my pillow before i plugged my phone in and climbing into my bed falling into a restless sleep.
