Outfit of the day up top
Jay's POV
I could hear Ava's alarm bounce off of the walls of the apartment before it abruptly stopped. I laughed lightly as I heard her murmur how she hated johnny as she got up. I stood in the kitchen making a shopping list and making ava toast for her interview. I love my sister but she needs this job I can't keep paying for everything because I won't be here forever. Ava walked out in her black shorts and kitty thigh highs, purple shoes and off the shoulder shirt. I smiled softly at her "good morning love how did you sleep?"
She looked up at me and yawned while running her eyes as she nodded softly. I kissed her forehead gently as she walked into the kitchen making her smile and giggle softly.
"Are you ready for your interview?" I asked softly as I buttered her toast passing it to her for her to eat.
"Just about sis" she said as she took a bite out of her toast before scarfing it down as she got a look at the clock on the wall.
"Sh*t I'm late.. I'll see you later I love you" she yelled while running out the door. I laughed and yelled a quick I love you too while shaking my head. "That girl will never learn" I chuckled as I went back to accessing what we needed around the apartment. It had been about 15 minutes before I heard the door open revealing my sister.
She laughed softly at my stern face "I forgot to take the trash with me" I nodded at her with a small smile.
"Hurry bunbun you'll be later than you are" I said sternly with a hint of amusement in my voice.she said yeah yeah and left this time taking the trash with her.
*Time skip 30 mins later*
I felt my sister senses started to tingle. I felt chills fo down my spine and goosebumps rose on my arms. I sighed softly and grabbed the first aid kit before walking back to the kitchen to wait for my sister to return.
After a couple minutes ava walked into the foyer then to the kitchen where she knew I was waiting as I accessed her injuries.
"What happened" I asked as she sat on the kitchen island so I could clean her cuts gently.
"Some weird demon cosplayers in the street.." she said. I nodded and put hello kitty Band-Aids on her knees gently as a burning smell filled the air.i quickly grabbed a frying pan off of the stove and pushed ava behind me. Gripping the pan tightly I pushed ava against the hallway wall, I waited with my back against the wall as I covered Ava's mouth waiting for the intruders to walk in front of us. I was strangely calm about the situation, my sister was safe next to me and I had a weapon, I wasn't going to go down without a fight that was for damn sure...
