" I'm bored" whined Bluekit "You'll have to wait to play the apprentice ceremony is about to begin" her mother replied. "I wish we were apprentices" said Snowkit as she curled her tail around her paws. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather hear beneath the High Rock for a Clan meeting!" Pinestar's voice rang out through out ThunderClan camp.
Dapplekit and Whitekit squealed with joy. Their mother silenced them with a flick of her tail. "Dapplekit and Whitekit have reached their 6th moon and are ready to become apprentices, Whitekit and Dapplekit do you promise to uphold the warrior code and fight for your clan?" "We do." Dapplekit and Whitekit said with confidence. "Then by the power of StarClan, you will now be known as Whitepaw and Dapplepaw!" Pinestar declared as the clan chanted approvingly "Whitepaw, Dapplepaw!"
"Smallear you are a courageous warrior and ready to take on an apprentice, you will be mentor to Whitepaw." Whitepaw then bounded over to Smallear and they touched noses. "Windflight you have fought well in battles and have bravery also ready for an apprentice as well, you be memtor to Dapplepaw."
Dapplepaw padded over to Windflight and touched noses with him.
