Summers sure are the time for messy dreams and wild imaginations, huh.

"Hey Onii-san, you going to the summer festival tonight?" Itsuki came running into my room.

I jumped out of bed. "Ya, I'm going. But next time can you knock on the door before coming in? You nearly scared the wits out of me!"

Having a brother who would bang in when you're daydreaming isn't a rally enjoying thing.

"I'm sorry, I'm just too excited! Oh, by the way, what do want for breakfast? I'm going out so I can grab you something to eat."

"As long as there's meat it's okay, you know that."

"Fine." Itsuki rolled his eyes upon hearing the response as usual.

The future I saw in that dream:

I buried my burning cheeks in my pillows.

They say dreams foreshadow the future, but is that true?

I dreamt of going to the summer festival.

Those fireworks in the dream. They're dazzling. The most beautiful fireworks I've ever seen.

But what made the picture perfect is the one next to me in the dream.

The two of us just sat on the ground and gazed upon the fireworks.

Or to be exact, he's watching the fireworks while I stared at him.

His perfect face, and...those thin lips.

And I whispered.

"Yuzuru?"

"Hmm?" He jumped a little.

"I like you."

It's a mundane morning, and

My mind was still messy while I made my way to the rink.

And I was welcomed by a screaming crowd as well as the person I wanted to meet and avoid the most at the same time.
