"Oh, Hoonie," Heeseung told, "you have got to be kidding me. I know how much you prefer skating and what it means to you but this is clearly not the right time."
"Of course not !" Sunghoon said with a wide grin."This is still open! I've waited for this all this time."
"I told you I didn't want to spend this new year alone but you brought me to an outdoor figure skating rink when it's so freaking cold!?" Heeseung sighed hiding his face in an oversized coat."I knew I should have pressed for something indoors. Maybe an arcade? That would have been great, I could have won you a plushie, or a cafe, we would be having a hot cup of coffee right now, but no, I had to let you do all the planning and here's-"
"Aren't you happy hyung?" Sunghoon smiles turning to Heeseung. His smile faded. "Heeseung hyung?"
"I.." Heeseung took a deep breath as he glanced towards Sunghoon who was now in front of him.... Sunghoon, who he had liked for almost a year and wanted to spend time with him so that they could get closer. "I guess I am? It's just really cold you know."
"Oh, " Sunghoon withered a bit and looked down in disappointment. "Well did you want to go somewhere inside instead? I can still take yo-"
"No, no." Heeseung wrapped his padded arm around Sunghoon's coated shoulder as he tapped it, "This is still gonna be fine. I guess I'm nervous, it's gonna be freezing or I'll fall. It's been months since I have last been to the rink. The last time I did skating was last Christmas when Jay and we two had gone to the rink near our dorm. I still remember how badly I fell down that I was limping all the way back home."
They both burst into laughter as they retained the incidents of that day. It had been a hilarious but unforgettable memory for all of us.
"But I carried you half of the way back home," Sunghoon said with a laugh and Heeseung could feel his cheeks burning up turning into crimson color.
"I wish Jay was here with us, " Heeseung quickly mentioned Jay with a hope of change in topic.
"Yeah, he could only if he wasn't busy visiting an amusement park with his little crush Jungwon," Sunghoon replied with a smirk as he pulled Heeseung with his wrist.
"But wait... I'm still not ready," Heeseung tries to stop the younger but to no avail.
"It's okay Hyung... you'll manage and I'm right here, okay?" Sunghoon said with a pout.
Ugh. The cute face that Sunghoon made while pouting. Heeseung would do anything for that face. "Let's get laced up," he said shaking his head to sway his thoughts away as if they would.
