Y/N's POV

As I was running with Rico badly damaged in my hands with many stab wounds, we were looking for the workshop so that we can repair him and possibly find out who did this to him

While we were looking I bumped into someone and looked down seeing it was Penny and I froze in place

Penny: saluta-

When she looked up at me holding Rico's beaten and destroyed body she screamed alerting the other students around us and looked terrified

Penny: W-what happened to him!?!?

Y/n: someone did this to him, we need to find the workshop, fast!

Penny: I know where it is, follow me!

As she ran down the hall I followed her as best as I could until we eventually got there so I handed Rico to Penny and cleared a spot on the table to start the repair process and eventually did get him onto the table and started replacing and repairing as much as I could 

TIMESKIP

After about an hour and a half of blood, sweat, and tears I managed to fix his body but I don't know if he'll remember us until I looked at Penny

Y/n: ready penny?

Penny: yes, I hope what you did help him

Y/n: I hope so too

 I powered him up and heard atlas's anthem playing and eventually he got up and looked around until looking at me and saluted

Rico: Hello sir, current tasks.....intel-gathering.....report to headmaster Ozpin......Final task......return to atlas with intel gathered from the field and await further instructions

I looked at him and grabbed his shoulders and shook him a little bit

Y/n: no no no no no no no, Rico it's me... y/n, remember me?

Rico: Yes sir........is this what you call a joke y/n?....... cause I think I got you good :)

I smack him upside the head and sat down with my hands over my face stressed and tired

Rico: I'm sorry, I thought it was going to be funny

I look at him and slowly start to smile at him and shake my head 

Y/n: I'm just glad that you are alive man, I thought we lost you

He fully gets up from the table and penny ran up to him and slapped him but returned to hugging him afterward

Rico: I deserve that

I approach him with one question on my mind 

Y/n: Rico

Rico: Yes?

Y/n: do you know who attacked you, and facial feature, voice, anything?

I saw him ponder on what to say and so while he was doing that I called the others to say that he's stable  until he eventually answered my question
