Rank 1 is basic soldiers and recruit's, rank 2 is a higher form of soldier like a sniper or mortar operator, rank 3 are squad leaders and pilots, rank 4 are specialist and highly trained soldiers, but also one man army's, rank 5 are commander's, and shipmaster's

This is an AU that beacon is a military base and training ground, Grimm still exist but are for rank 2 and above, also dust still exists but is used for stuff like flame throwers and Tesla turrets
