Chapter sixteen

Well shit..this is just great..

Colonel Parker practically forced Elvis and I to get engaged.
Elvis says that he had planned to ask me anyways, it was just a little earlier than he had ordered planned.
He says that he wanted to wait until Christmas but it's December 2nd now so it wasn't too far off.
We announced our engagement the day after Thanksgiving so everyone knows.
Elvis wants to have a family/friends party next week to celebrate our engagement and the Christmas season so I agreed even though I really wasn't much of a partier, atleast now as much as he was, especially when he was with his friends and there's alcohol involved.
I've been a bit anxious the last few weeks because of what Priscilla had said..Elvis and I have done, well, you know, and we didn't use protection because he says that birth control is bad for me but he won't use condoms since he considers them "nonsense".

A few weeks later.
I've been sick for a few weeks and the only ones that know are Mary and Charlie since they're the only ones that are here often right now because Elvis has been working in the studio.
Usually Charlie was with Elvis but the day that he had found out he had to stop here to get something for Elvis that he needed at the studio.
Mary has been helping me with the sickness that we originally thought was a stomach flu but now that it's been going on for a while and I've been bloated she thinks that I could be pregnant which has made me a nervous wreck around Elvis.

About a week later.
I had a doctor confirm the pregnancy..
I'm pregnant..
It's all over and we aren't even married yet..we didn't even get a chance to be married before I got pregnant..
Elvis is going to be mad..
