Morning jog with XingGe was not something new. We would do it everytime in the past.
After the 30 minutes run, we reached 'Caffeinated' and ordered Two Cappuccinos, like the old days.

By the time we made our way home, everyone was set to go out for the day.
"Dad, you're going as well?" I asked.
"Mhn..will be back early though." He replied.

I fanned my face with my hands asking if Xing Ge had plans for the day.
"We could help Grandpa in the garden." He grinned.
No! No!!
It was a big No!
Gardening with Grandpa was pure nightmare...too much of nagging.

Although I knew XingGe was only teasing me, I couldn't help bit react to it strongly.

"Let's have breakfast first. I have somewhere to take you." He said smiling.
Curiously piqued me where he was going to bring me to.

The thing was, XingGe was a gentle flower, but he inherited the firmness from Dad, I guess.
So I knew if I didn't sit for breakfast, we won't be moving out anytime soon.
And uncle was so orthodox that he made everyone to so religiously believe how meal time was so sacred to the family. Not that I'm complaining..but at times like today when I'm not feeling like to eat, it's a real penance.

I dragged my body to the dining table. Dad kissed my forehead before going out.
"Bye Dad! I called out loudly.

Grandpa who was sitting on the couch reading the papers grumpily murmured how loud I was in the early mornings. I giggled as I took the bowl to fill my cereal.

The entire ride was joyful. I loved travelling. And on such a bright day, it felt even more wonderful.
It was an hour and a half journey. When we reached the gate, I was surprised.
"Isn't this B.M Foundation?" I asked XingGe.
"You know about B.M Foundation? Have you come here before?" XingGe was even more surprised.

I shook my head. I never visited but how could I not know about the place? My idol who had a soft spot for children introduced the place to me. His Weibo posts often mentioned about it clearly said how dear the place was to him.

I couldn't believe it. It was an unexpected pilgrimage to the place I considered holy.

On reaching the gates, a middle lady opened the gate. She probably was older than Dad who was still 36. She was surprised to see us, and even more surprised to see XingGe.

"Young Master Xing?"
I was surprised that she knew him. XingGe must be familiar with the place.

"Aunt Biyu, how have you been?" And he gave her a warm smile.

"Ah..A-Xing! How I missed you! I have been well. Where have you been these two years? Oh..I missed you!"
...And a few tears pricked her eyes as she hugged him warmly.

"Sorry Auntie. I am now in a residential University and have been busy. A-Xing is sorrt he couldn't come often."

After leaving him, she noticed me and asked me who I was.
"Auntie, this is my little sister A-Liang."

"Hello Auntie." I greeted her respectfully.

"Aye this child, no need to be so formal." ...and I knew I was going to lover her instantly.

As we entered the gate, curious eyes peered at us. They looked so pure and so innocent that it warmed my heart.

"They are shy at first. But after sometime, they won't let you go." Auntie Biyu said behind us.

"A-Xing, you two...do you want something to drink? Auntie Biyu asked concerned.
"No no. Thank you Auntie. We just had something on the way." XingGe assured her.

"I will be in the kitchen." She said before she went inside.

"Auntie Biyu have been here for a long time. Before I had gone to the university, I would come here often so she knows me preety well." He explained.

The children came out of their holes and approached us as Gege sat to talk with them.
