-Skye's POV-
UGHHHHH. I think that's everyone's thought when they wake up for school, because I know it's mine. I shut off my alarm and sat up. It was 7:03.I got up and started to get ready for school. The house was dead quiet since my mom had left for work early. I brushed my short, curly honey-brown hair and got dressed. I laced up my old battered Converse and grabbed my backpack.
Today was going to be a long day..

All of the 8th grade classes sat in rows in the cafeteria, we were practicing for our graduation ceremony. BOORRRIINNGGG!!!! And best of all guess who I had to sit next to.. Jen.
I know what your thinking.. Oh Skye come on, I mean it can't be that bad! Ahehheh. No.
"OMG did you hear about Becca and James!? They're so cute together!" No Jen I never heard, cause you know you totally didn't blab about it all day yesterday. But y'know I'm nice so I just nodded and continued to listen to the teachers, even though I really didn't care about anything they were saying.
She kept talking about other 8th grade couples and I tried to drain it all out. Ok, I get the point but now your just making me feel even more like a loner.
Finally the bell for lunch rang and Veronica, Ann, and me headed to the cafeteria. "Where's Becca? I saw her when we left." I said. "Dunno." Said Ann.
"Found her." Veronica muttered as she spotted poor Becca swarmed in a crowd of nosy 8th grade girls, who were asking questions like Becca was Google Search or something.
"Oh god, here we go... Alright guys move it!" Veronica shoed the girls away and we all went to talk to Becca. "What happened?" I asked.
"Nothing," she sighed and we all looked at each other. Tomorrow was going to be an interesting last day of school....
