Donghyuck's eyes peeled open slowly

Donghyuck's eyes peeled open slowly. Again, the sun shone in them brightly, forcing the blonde to shut them again.

The heat that fanned against him felt so amazing, but his head didn't.

It ached something awful. The throbbing was enough to make him want to get a brain transplant and the unsettled sensation deep within his stomach made him heave.

"Fuck."

He jumped from the bed, rushing to the bathroom where he emptied the contents of his stomach into the toilet.

The hasty patter of footsteps against the floorboards and the rushed 'Hyuckie?' reminded the boy of his boyfriend who he likely woke up with his hangover.

"You okay?" Mark whispered, trying his best to not hurt the younger's head anymore than it already was. His hand slowly rubbed patterns onto the younger's back, comforting the rough-looking boy who hand his back against the wall and his hands interwoven with his blonde locks.

"My head is fucking pounding, Mark. I am anything but oka-" His mind flashed to the night before. Him and Mark preparing to go to the party. Getting drunk. Mark leaving. Blank.

He tilted his head slightly, still not being able to concoct an image of what had happened after getting absolutely hammered.

"What happened last night?" He quietly whispered, hoping he hadn't gotten into mischief or even worse, embarrassed himself. His eyes flickered over to Mark whose face suddenly paled, his hands trembling and his eyes widening.

"What exactly do you remember?"

With a brief summary of the extent to memories, Mark's concerns calmed.

No need to tell him if he doesn't remember... That was the right choice, wasn't it?

Deciding to drop the conversation altogether, Donghyuck - with the assistance of his boyfriend - stood up again, his stomach churning, but no urge to vomit came to him.

"Let's get some breakfast, yeah?"

The table of boys fell to a silence, not a single one of them making eye-contact after the eventful night before.

Renjun, Jeno and Mark had made a mutual agreement to not intentionally uproot any of the memories. Still, for the life of them, they couldn't seem to figure out why Chenle and Jisung were joining in on the awkward atmosphere.

"What happened between the two of you?" Jaemin mumbled, him being the only one who hadn't experienced anything out of the normal. "I mean you look like tomatoes."

Jisung side-eyed his friend, noticing how Chenle's foot tapped nervously against the kitchen floor, indicating his discomfort.

"Nothing happened," the youngest whispered whilst he poked his food around his plate. "Nothing at all."

Again, the same quiet embraced the group. With a suspicious gaze, Jaemin watched the two high school students who were still anxiously glancing at one another with unreadable expressions.

"Hyuck....Could I have a moment with you?" Renjun quietly asked, his hand reaching to land atop the other's.

With a confused expression, the younger nodded. He leaned over to place a chaste kiss upon Mark's cheek before excusing himself to follow Renjun who was smiling excitedly.

"I got into Yonsei University," he whispered, his hand visibly trembling from the ecstatic feeling that rushed through his veins. "I don't have to move back to China. We can still hang out all the time!" He exclaimed, taking ahold of Donghyuck's hands while studying his stunned expression.

"Oh my God, Jun!" The younger shrieked, leaning forward to embrace the shorter in a warm hug. "I'm so damn proud of you. That's school is so hard to get into!"

With his chin resting on the Chinese boy's shoulder, a small frown tugged at his lips.

He hadn't yet been accepted into college. Would he ever?
