THE SUN shined through the small home's windows; the stairs creaked as someone stepped on them. It seemed like someone has already woken from the Adams house. A young man quietly went downstairs, not wanting to wake her mother. The house was quiet with the smell of flowers that the boy's mother puts everywhere around the place. The brown, old clock hanged near the doorway marked it was 5 in the morning, though the boy didn't care.

Ezra was looking for his mother's phone; he just woke up to the light coming in from the windows, which meant it was morning. Damien promised to call that morning, but Ezra couldn't wait, so he decided to call the man first. The reason why he was looking for the phone. Where mommy's phone? Need to call Dee.

Ezra finally found his mother's purse where she had her phone. He quickly remembered the passcode, went directly to the phone contacts, and clicked on Damien's profile to call him.

The sound of Damien's phone ringing slowly woke him up, with laziness he picked up the phone next to his bed, "Hello?" with his deep voice and closed eyes, he answered.

"Moning, Dee! Wakey wakey! Ezra up now, You too long to call me," a hyper boy answered. Damien's eyes shot up, was that Ezra!?

"Ezra, love, is that you?" Damien asked.

"Yes, it's me Ezra!" the hyper boy giggled, "Why still sleeping, it's morning!" Ezra shouted.

Damien looked at his clock alarm next to his bed confusedly. It marked 5:47, it's too early, "Ezra, baby, you should go back to sleep. It's early, where's your mom?" Ezra laughed at Damien's question. He laid on the couch and put his legs up.

"'m not sleepy, Dee! Mommy is sleeping, Ezra has to be quiet, or mommy will be mad." Ezra whispered. Such a bad boy. Ezra laughed at his thought.

"I-, okay, Love," Can't believe I'm awake at this time, only for Ezra. "What do you want to talk about, Love?" Damien asked as he got up from his bed and walked to his kitchen to prepare some coffee. He grabbed a blue mug, poured the coffee, walked towards his living room, and sat on the couch. Ready to listen to what Ezra was saying.

"And then they died and-and because and they didn't say goodbye," Ezra stuttered as he was narrating to Damien about the dinosaurs in his book, while Damien paid close attention. He was extremely happy to listen to Ezra talk this much.

Such an angel.

For almost 1 hour, Ezra and Damien talked until Linda woke up. As always, she first went to wake up Ezra, yet she found the younger's man room empty. She quickly went downstairs to find his son on the couch talking to her phone.

"Ezra, what are you doing?" Ezra looked up at her mom and gave her a guilty smile. Linda walked up at him and took her phone away.

"No, Mommy! 'm in a call with Dee!" Ezra shouted, trying to get his mother's phone back. Linda looked at her phone and confirmed that Ezra was in a call with Damien, "Give me phone, Mommy!" Ezra continued.

Linda put her phone on speaker and spoke, "Damien?"

"Ah, yes, good morning, Linda. You see, Ezra called me about 30 minutes ago." Damien replied.

"At 5 in the morning? Ezra, love, you woke Damien too early," she looked at Ezra, who had tears running down his cheeks, "I apologize, Damien. It seems Ezra was excited to talk to you. Would you like to facetime him while I go change of clothing?" Linda asked.

"Of course!" Damien responded.

Linda turned the call to facetime and gave her phone back to Ezra, who quickly took it. Ezra looked at the screen where Damien smiled; he then frowns when he saw Ezra red with tears on his face.

"Ezra, are you okay? Why are you crying? Don't cry, you're too cute to cry." Damien said softly. It broke his heart just seeing Ezra's pouting face.

Ezra giggled and showed Damien a huge smile, "'m not crying anymore! See I'm big smiling!'" Ezra roared, which made Damien laugh. He's too cute.

"Ah, you're right! Ezra is happy!" Damien chuckled, "Ezra, love. I have to change clothes, so I can go to your house. I need to turn off the facetime mode." Before he could turn it off, Ezra began shouting not liking the idea.

"No, I want see you! Face, face, face!" he shouted, jumping up and down on the green couch.

"All right, all right, Ezra," Damien replied. He walked to his room, still with the phone in his hand, and into the closet. He grabbed causal clothing, as he was about to take his bottom pajamas; he remembered. He looked at his phone that showed a blushed Ezra. I forgot!

"I'm sorry, darling. I will put my phone somewhere else while I change, okay? I will still be here." Damien assured. He set his phone down next to a small sofa and began changing the clothing. Damien's outfit consisted of a navy, grey, and white sweater with black slacks. He picked back his phone and smiled at Ezra, who was playing with a cat plushie.

"What's the name, Love?" Damien asked. Ezra looks at the phone happily and shows the plushie.

"Milo!" Ezra exclaimed. Damien chuckled while putting on his navy shoes.

"Is Dee ready? Dee go to the house of Ezra now?" the smaller boy asked curiously.

"Yes, sweetie. Now I have to leave, can't drive being in a call. Okay, Ezra? You're going to be a good boy as I drive to your house, okay?" Damien calmly said, not trying to make Ezra get upset. Damien grabbed his keys and walked out of his apartment, ready to leave the building.

"Aw, bu-but. Ugh! Okay, but pomise to come quick." It seems like the younger man did not like Damien's proposal, but he understood that people shouldn't be distracted while driving.

"I promise, Ezra. All right, I'll see you in a short moment. Bye!" Not even a second after saying that, Ezra hanged up the phone.

The baby did not like that. Wait- Ezra is now baby? That fast Damien?

Damien, with red cheeks, left the building and quickly got into his car; he doesn't want to make his baby wait for him much longer.

Meanwhile, a pouting Ezra hugged the cat plushie too hard out of fury. Linda laughed at the scene and went to his son to assure him that Damien will come shortly, "Don't be impatient, Ezra," she laughed.
