i was laying in bed when i got a message from vinnie he was telling me to meet him at the restaurant we became friends at which was across the state, i groaned and climbed out of bed and sat up i got in a quick shower and found a cute outfit to wear.

i put my hair in a messy bun and i watched as put mascara on and let my hair lay natural today i walked downstairs and said bye as i walked out and i got in mine and his car as i turned it on and started driving to the diner in San Diego i listened to music while i drove there it was about an hour and and fifty seven minutes i sat there singing my playlist as i had vinnies anniversary gift in the back seat.

i got him the new iphone and airpods with a couple new hoodies (one being a merch idea) and shoes, i know he will like it because he has been looking at getting these hoodies and shoes lately, i pulled into the diners parking space as i looked inside to see vinnie sitting on his phone i grabbed the gifts and walked inside i sat down and pushed them towards him, he pulled out a couple boxes from beside him
i watched as he opened the shoes on and he got excited then he opened the hoodie box and saw it said our intro 'whats up shawtyyyyyyy' he smiled "is it gonna be merch?" he asked and i nodded he jumped up and walked over to me picking me up and hugging me, i also got him a couple rapper hoodies and he opened the phone and then the airpods and he stood up and he grabbed my hand pulling me to my feet "thank you love" he said placing a light kiss upon my lips.
"now open yours " he said sitting down i opened it to see a box with three two tiny ring size boxes i look at him and he smiled and i opened one it was a silver one with a cool design vinnie pulled his hand out of his pocket and showed me his "matching rings" i said sliding it over my middle finger on my left hand and he looked at me while i opened the other one it was a black heart gem and on the inside of the ring it said "i pinky promise" i looked at him.
"its a promise ring and i pinky promise not to hurt you" he said kissing my hand and i put the ring on my ring finger on my right hand

wait i still have a whole day planned out he said as we order our old usual from there and i looked around at how much it didn't change i smiled and looked back on how i would've never seen vinnie as my soulmate i watched him play with his ring as he looked around i spotted something and stood up making vinnie confused i walked to the wall by the kitchen and he followed behind me
i looked at mine an his name carved on it with a hear by it and i remembered the booth here and when we were sixteen vinnie took a photo of it and i looked at him "so i can put it in the picture book" he said making me smile he grabbed my hand and pulled me back to the table as they brought us our food and i watched him smiled at me and i smiled back as i got butterflies as he winked at me.
it felt like i was falling in love all over again and i was okay with that i watched as he ate and i started eating as well i remembered the first time we came alone so kio and devy could have alone time its the first day i developed my crush on him he was sitting across from me as we messed around and the manager came out and she was a sweet heart she owned the diner.
she told us to calm down or she'd pull our seats from under us we laughed and calmed down a little and everyday we would come back to the diner just to mess around and have a good childhood and then vinnies parents started fighting and he stayed over at our house every night. i snapped back into reality and i finished my food and i sat there and vinnie finished eating and he grabbed the keys and we stood up and left the money and tip,
i grabbed vins hand as he walked a little infront of me i felt his hand grip mine tighter i saw a guy staring at me i looked away and he rubbed his finger on my hand we got in the car and drove off "i have two other places i wanna take you" he said making me nod and smile i put my phone on aux and played 'what you know bout love by pop smoke' i smiled as i felt his hand sat on my thigh.
i sang as he pulled to a red light kissing me, i kissed back as i felt him lightly grab my neck i smiled and looked away he let go and started driving again and we listened to music as he drove i leaned the car back as i looked at the roof an he hooked his phone to the aux and i scrolled through edits i was tagged in when i scrolled past one and it was one of me and vin growing up together i reposted it to my story with a heart
the car stopped and vin got out with me and i looked to see our old school and classes where in session i walked in and the principal i smiled and waved at her she waved at me and vin and i walked up the main stairs and i looked for class 204b i found it and slightly opened it as the teacher continued teaching i walked in the back and he turned still looking at his book "and you're late for" he asked "i'm late because i graduated" i smiled making him look up and see me
"y/n my favorite student" he said making the class turn to me and smile "he talks about you everyday and how you used the throw stuff at him" i laughed and nodded "sounds like me" i said laughing as he nodded "she was in detention 24/7 after getting caught doing stuff" he said
"yea i pants the gym teacher" i said as i walked to mr montoya's desk and i sat in his chair "what's your profession miss y/l/n?" he asked making me look at him "right now i am a influncer but i have a plan to follow down the families trail" i said making him nod
