"Homeroom. Elective. RTI. Science. Social studies. Elective. Language arts. Math," Annebelle whispers to herself.

She repeats herself multiple times before she leaves the gym to meet up with some of her friends at their locker.

She knows the routine.
First- go to the gym until the bell rings.
Second- go to Adrea and Skyler's locker. Talk with them and wait for Rheann.
Third- when Rheann shows up, go to her locker and wait for her to get all her stuff together.
Fourth- Annebelle and her group goes to her locker and she gets her stuff.
Fifth- Annebelle walks with James back to homeroom.
That's the drill every morning. No denying it.

While Annebelle waits for her friends to get to their lockers, she watches everyone walk past. Staring at her. Judging her for who she is. It hurts her. A lot. But she smiles and carries on. She makes everyone believe she is okay when really she is dying inside.
Finally her friends show up; one by one.
"Hey," Adrea said then proceeded to open her locker.
"Hello," Skyler said then started to open her locker adjacent to Adrea's.

Annebelle feels a tug on her hair. She turns around and sees Savannah.
Savannah then blurts out,"Bong!"

She does that to get everyone's attention that she already has.

"How is everyone today?"
Annebelle has been waiting to ask that since she saw Adrea begin to descend the corridor.
"Pretty good today, actually."
Annebelle is glad to hear Adrea say that.
"What about you Skyler? Savannah?"
"Im fine."
Annebelle immediately responds to Skyler's answer.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing I'm fine."
"Come on Pufferfish! I know you better than this. We both know too well that fine means something is wrong. Something is terribly wrong. Will you please just tell me what is wrong?"
"Okay I'll tell you what is wrong. Life isn't worth living anymore. I'm done. This life is over for me!"
"Skyler-"
Annebelle is interrupted by Rheann who has just walked up on the group like she does every day.
"We WILL continue our conversation when it's time to go to second period."
"Okay. fine."
Rheann and Annebelle walk to Rheann's locker, just like any other regular day.
"Nice shirt Nepeta."
"Thanks Sollux. Back at ya."
Nepeta is Rheann and Sollux is Annebelle. They get their names off animes.
"This time we wore the same shirt without planning it."
"That's cause we are purrfect."
"Oh cat puns."
They both laugh for a minute. Rheann is trying to get her locker open but her laughter is making it entirely too difficult.
Finally they both calm their laughter enough for Rheann to open her locker.
"Wait! I can't remember my combination!"
"Well I guess you are S O L."
"And what does that mean?"
"Shit out of luck," Annebelle says with a giant smirk on her face.
Rheann laughs a little then says," Well I guess you're right."
Rheann figures out her combination after a minute and a half and opens her grassy green locker.
"Got it!"
"Good job! You're not as Fucktarded as I thought you were!"
"Thank you," Rheann says while fake crying and wimpering. "That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."
"Yeah well don't get used to it."
"Wouldn't even think about it."
"Okay good."

Annebelle waits by the door to Mr. Barwell's room. Rheann goes in and sets her stuff down at her desk. They have to wait for Savannah to get her stuff though. Annebelle and Rheann wait together patiently in silence as Savannah gathers her things.

"Ready?" Savannah asks.
"Ready," Rheann and Annebelle say in unison.

The three of them walk through the halls like they own the place, and they kinda do.
Anybody that is friends with Annebelle is a powerful person. Most people don't dare to mess with Annebelle or her friends unless they have a powerful number. They know it can end ugly. What they don't realize is that Annebelle won't hurt them. She is far too shy or scared to do anything but that's besides the point.
They walk down the halls almost everyone always stares at them. They don't want the attention, but what are they to do?
They get to Annebelle's locker and James is there. Savannah and Rheann immediately point to him making a big scene.
"Guys! Cut it out. He's just a guy. There is nothing to bug about." Annebelle says this the worry that James noticed and would ask her about it.
"Hey. We are just trying to help you out. I ship you two together so hard!!! It's basically cannon."
"Rheann, you are such a Homestuck nerd," Savannah splurts out.
"Why thank you. I know I am. I take that as a full compliment."
"Well good."
"Will you two stop fighting?" Annebelle sneaks into the conversation.
Just then James has a few words of his own to say. "You guys are weird."
"Thanks," all three girls say in unison. Annebelle says with a little more sarcasm.

Annebelle gets her locker open and gets all of the things she needs. She stands up and notices that James is just standing there, looking at her. She starts walking with the girls right behind her and James steps up right by her side. She stops and everyone stops. She's confused now.
She continues walking. Everyone is silent.
"Hi Annebelle," James says.
"Hello."
"Would you like to go to the scrap metal recycling place in Walton with me?"
"I would love to."

Savannah and Rheann interrupt.
"We have to go."
"Okay. I'll talk to you guys later."

"Alright now back to our conversation, James."
"Yes. Right."
"Yep..."
"Okay. Soooo, we can meet at the end of your driveway. Sometime between 12 and 1. Does that work for you?"
"It sure does."
"Wear black clothes."
"Will do."

James and Annebelle walk into homeroom.

"Let's sit in the back."
"Okay."

It's now 8:00 am and the bell will ring in two minutes to go to first period.

"So do we have this all figured out?" James asks.
"I think so."
"Okay, good."
"Wednesday at around 12 or 1. We'll meet at the top of my driveway and we can walk together to Walton. Make sure to wear black clothing."
"Sounds pretty accurate to me."
"Okay, good."
*Bell Rings*
"God James! Hurry up! You are so slow!" Annebelle states in a sarcastic voice.
"I'm coming. I'm coming."

They walk into the hall. They have a mini conversation, but they have to break off so Annebelle could walk to her class.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow morning on the bus," James says questionable.
"Okay. see you later."

Annebelle walks to her class in the beginning if the 7th grade hallway. She passes by people: head down, not making eye contact. Some people say hi and she acknowledges them but doesn't say anything. She gets into her class (Mrs. Davis) and sets her stuff down on her desk.
