Chapter 3

"What the-- oh, Sunoo." The person he bumped said. He looked at his face to know who he bumped into.

Damn.

Shocks.

Fuck.

It's Niki.

He saw Niki smirking at him while his heart started to beat faster because of nervousness.

No way.

He tried his best to walk away in the court but then, he will still see him here.

What did I do in my previous life to deserve this kind of shit? Sunoo thought.

"H-how did you know my name? Are you some sort of stalker or what?" Sunoo managed to say while taking a step at the back to widen their distance. He's nervous and afraid but he doesn't want to show it.

"I have my ways" Niki said while still smirking at him looking straight in his eyes.

"You know what, I don't give a bullshit. Move away! I don't have time for any nonsense" Sunoo tried to escape from the indimidating moment he's into but before he could walk away, he was pulled by Niki at the arm and slammed him on the wall just beside where he is standing a while ago.

Sunoo grimaced at the pain because of too much force that Niki used then he looks at the other's eyes.

Niki laughed annoyingly. "Pretending to be brave, little idiot?" Niki asked while raising his eyebrows then he moved closer to Sunoo, closing the distance between their faces so the other could hear him. "Don't you dare run away from me. I just let you yesterday but now is your day" Niki said while still pinning Sunoo at the wall with eyes locked at Sunoo. Sunoo just tried to avoid the eye contact because it only makes the situation more terrifying as he tries to let go from the other's grip.

If looks could kill, Sunoo is already dead.

"Don't you ever disrespect me ever again, you idiot and from now on. You'll do what ever I told you. You know what will happen if you dont" Niki whispered in his ears sending shivers down to his spine. Sunoo gulped but unfortunately, Niki noticed.

Afterall, it's working on him. He looks so terrified and nervous. Pathetic little idiot, Niki thought drawing a smirk on his lips as he let go of Sunoo.

But if you think he's done, no. You're wrong.

Niki put his attention to a bag in Sunoo's shoulder. He grabbed it aggresively making the other wince in pain of the sudden agression.

"Hmmm.. so what do we have here?" Niki asked in an annoying voice while flipping the bag upside down, shaking it as he emptied the bag he is holding.

Sunoo wants to stop him, to shout on him, to get the bag from him but it seems like all of the bravery that he got faded. He's tired, he's too coward to confront the guy. He's older, but he is the one getting obedient to Niki. He wants to cry. He doesn't deserve this.

But then again, can he do something to get away from this? What if he would not stop? Would he live in a hell like life?

He saw Niki picked the book he used to cover his face a while ago, the one he borrowed from the library to use as reference to his assignment. Niki flipped the pages of the book looking uninterested.

"This is from the library, right?" Then Niki looked at him "What would happen if.." Niki paused as he started tearing the pages of the book. "What the hell! Stop it already" Sunoo said as he tried to get the book but Niki pushed him making him stumble at the ground. Niki then continues to what he is doing. Destroying the book.

After tearing half of the pages, Niki finally stopped.

Niki approached where Sunoo is. He grabbed his chin aggressively and forced the other to look straight to his eyes.

"Try telling them that I did this to the book and you'll know what will happen" Niki said and turn his back, making way to leave the area.

Sunoo sighed.

The living hell is starting
He's already late to his next class,
He should return the book tomorrow morning but now it's already destroyed,
He will have no reference for the assignment,
He should prepare himself for detention,
And last but not he least, Niki would surely be always there to annoy and bully him.

Sunoo erased all of his thoughts and tried to focus. He started to fix his things and throw the destroyed book together with its scattered pages.

He looked at the book inside the trashcan. "This will be my life if I don't avoid him"
Destroyed. Ruined. Pathetic.
Then suddenly, he remembers what his Jake hyung said.

"I don't want you to get hurt so please, stay away from him as you can" Jake said with comforting eyes.

Stay away. Avoid. Ignore. These are the only things that he needs to do.

Right?
