"Bye mum, see you after school, Dante's waiting for me so I need to dash!" Rosie uttered
"Hurry up Rose, we're going to miss the bus !" Dante exclaimed.
"Yes, yes coming coming!!"
Rosie rushed past the door, took a quick glimpse in the mirror, and brushed back any sway hairs. Gosh she really did look terribly plain today and could already hear Dante saying to add some colour to her face but every time she reached for her lipstick, he would abruptly snatch it away from her hand.
As she stepped out into the damp heat, Rosie's feline green eyes shone vividly against her caramel skin, just one look at her made you feel as though you were drenched in the sun.
Rosie wondered why Dante was in such a rush and really did not have the energy to deal with his changing temperament but then she remembered exactly why he behaved like that and brushed the thought away, filling her mind with guilt instead.
Rose rushed out of the door only to be stopped by her mother,
"WAIT,WAIT, you've left your lunch and I really don't want you eating that dreadful school dinner again, come home straight after school and don't play around with Dante today!" Rosie's mum shouted pushing Rosie's hair out of her face.
"Yes, mummy, see you soon , love you , byeeee"
As she pushed the door open, she was met with Dante's irritable facial expression, but what struck her the most was his handsomeness, how on earth can someone look so striking in the morning and for a moment she felt a pang of heat overcome her and heart beating rapidly faster until he said her name...
"ROSE, ROSE... HELLOOO" yelled Dante trying to get her attention as she glanced at him.
She suddenly came back to reality and realised she had spaced out again, and looked him in the eyes, his sharp jawline morphing beautifully into his thick yet slender neck..
"We need to run for the bus or well be stuck in detention again. Come on loser has to sit at the back next to smelly Joe," Dante chuckled to himself
"urghhhh, you know how much I hate running,"
As they ran ahead, Dante's long legs strode in the wind and as he glanced at her with his oval brown eyes blanketed by thick black lashes she wondered how she was still friends with him but he could never how she felt, it would ruin everything.
"haaa, I don't know how you thought you could beat me!!" teased Dante
"Well you were at advantage, your like a beanstalk in comparison to me"
Dante chuckled, throwing his head back whilst tufts of hair fell elegantly against his forehead, he took a quick glance at Rose's glorious marble-green eyes glistening in the sun and got lost in them momentarily, no one could ever compare to her beauty and he was baffled by how insecure she was, to him she is a goddess and he was in awe of her beauty inside and out everyday.
