"The feeling of winning is one of the best in the whole world"

"We won!!!!" Ito yelled as she jumped at you, engulfing you in a tight hug that almost suffocated you.

"Yes we did! We are qualified for the Nationals!!" You replied with a bright smile.

Ito helped you up from your spot on the grass and the two of you walked over to the rest of the team and the coach.

"I cant put in words how proud I am of all of you!" Coach Suzuki said with a soft smile, which was unusual for her.

"(Y/N) and Ito, your attacks were great and (Y/N), your defense probably surprised everyone. Watanabe, you weren't only a great defense you also were a great captain today! Everyone played so well today, you all deserve a break now! And after that we can start thinking about the nationals!"

"Thank you coach!"

You were washing the dirt off your body when someone approached you from behind.

"Ya played great today, congrats on being on the best team in Miyagi!" You immediately recognized the voice and the Kansai accent and quickly turned around with a bright smile.

"Atsumu!"

"Im proud if you (Y/N)!" He said, returning the bright smile while thinking about wether you would be comfortable with him hugging you.

But you took that decision from him, hugging him tightly. Atsumu hugged back after a few moments and the two of you stayed like that for a while until he spoke again.

"Hows your leg?" He asked.

"Huh, why?" You asked not quite sure what he meant.

"Didn't ya got kicked between the legs when ya tried to block?" He asked and you understood what he meant.

You lifted up your shorts a bit, revealing a dark bruise on your thigh.

"Its not too bad" you say shrugging your shoulders.

"Are ya kidding?!" He exclaimed and worry took over his face.
"Thats looks awful! We should put ice on that right now."

"Dont worry about it." You say, waving your hands in front of you.

"No uh, you always say that so people don't worry about you. But you know what, sometimes its not bad to take help and let people care for you!" He said, pouting and you giggled.

"Youre right...you already know me that well huh. I'm not used to people caring about me, I guess thats just the fault of my daddy and mommy issues." You replied and the mood lightened a bit.

Back at the trainings camp Atsumu made sure that you had everything you needed and that you were cooling the big bruise on your leg. He had told you to just sit on the bleachers and watch his team train a bit while you were cooling your leg.
You were flustered by how eager the setter was to take care of you. It was new for you that someone who doesn't belong to your family cares so much about your well being, but you would lie if uou would say that you didn't like it.

You caught him catching glimpses of you here and there while his team was training some new ways to attack.
His serves amazed you. Tobio was already a great setter but Atsumu...you couldnt help but stare as he threw the ball in the air.
He was so precise and he knew which kind of way to set the ball  was the best for each teammate.

His way to play was stunning.

"Ok gather around everyone!" Their coach announced and everyone stopped what they were doing and formed a circle around the elderly man.
