Severus snape x reader

Chapter 10

You tugged toward Hogsmead. It was cold and snow fell thickly around you. You managed to finally get to the three broomsticks and try to get the snow out your hair. Severus did the same, taking bits of snow off his dark hair.

"You got some there," you said pointing to the right of his head. He swished it off the snow and sat in a booth. You joined him and cooled down.

"Should we have tricked him?" you asked.

"He did not understand what either of those potions where" he said. "for a man who said he knows everything he seems to have very poor knowledge"

"Your right" you said. You stood and got two whiskeys, putting it down on the table.

Severus sipped it and sighed. "Why did you ask me to come?" He asked.

"I just wanted to talk"you said. "in a more relaxed location"

"What about?"

"Life" you suggested.

"my life is not worth repeating," he said "I try not to think of it"

You frowned slightly and took a sip of drink.

"Why?" you asked plainly.

He looked at you, curious.  "I have lived a bad life" he said plainly.

"Doesn't mean it's not worth repeating" you answer.

"You have no idea" he said.

"I'm sure I do" you said. "Like all other Slytherins if your age. I made assumptions" you said.

He raised his eyebrows. Knowing what you would say next.

"I know you know what I'm thinking" you said. "But what used to be in doesn't define you. Unless you have those views still"

Severus shook his head "I don't"

"I've fuck up a lot" you said. "I'm a bit thick and a bit ugly and you aren't any of those things"

Severus took a swig. "You aren't either, either" he said. "Oh come on (y/n), you got my cryptic ingredient list and knew what to say to make me feel a little better. I have also find you very attractive" he stopped realising his mistake.

"What?" you ask. "You find me attractive?"

Severus took another swig and coughed awkwardly.

You giggled. "your the first person to ever say that" you said. "am I?"

Severus nodded slightly and called over the barman for some more drinks. "I have always found you interesting," Severus said. "since you got here last year."

"I have too" you said. "but I always thought you disliked me"

"I did get angry over the Peace Lilly" Severus said. "but it is doing nicely. I put it on a stand"

"I'm glad you like it" you said. "I'm sorry I offended you by it." You looked at your watch. "It getting late" you said.

"Don't feel sorry" he said "and we should go"

You left money on the table and walked out with him. "Careful" he whispered, taking your arm. "It's quite icy". He patted your hand and together you walked back to Hogwarts.
