Not waiting to see if the surviving men did as they were told, Mathan grabbed the gun and walked out of the bay, eyes focused on Sven as he walked towards his end. He wasn't scared for himself, wasn't even interested in walking away alive. If he could take this monster with him, that would be enough.

"Sven," he said with a lopsided smirk - just the one he knew enraged Sven the most.

"I have no time for pleasantries," Sven hissed, eyes ablaze with anger. "You have made a fool out of me for the very last time."

"You ready to lay down and die like the vermin you are?" Mathan asked, his tone turning colder. "Shall I help you? I heard it can be quite painful."

"Where is my property?" Sven asked.

"What 'property'?" Mathan returned.

But that was all it took to make the monster snap, his eyes widening - body moving violently - arms jerking as he struggled to pull the gun from his jacket pocket.
