A/N:

This bit is inspired by my absolute bestie Kay who actually wrote a prompt of this forever ago now and sent it to me, which I in turn begged to be allowed to use for our story. I think what she imaged was so beautifully written and I hope that I have been able to do it justice as it is adapted for this world. I must also thank her for listening to my incessant rambling and for brainstorming with me and giving me such evil, angst-y ideas these past many months.

The concrete fortress was getting colder as rain started to fall outside. By the cool, crisp air, Taehyung had decided it was closer to Winter than it was to Spring. Wrapping his arms around himself he tried to gather his thoughts as everything he knew faded to black and died.

A shaking hand on his barely registered until he heard a strained voice.

"Tae-Taehyung-ah," Yoongi whispered, each word costing him dearly.

"Hyung," Taehyung said, his attention snapping back to the present as he got to his knees and kneeled over his love.

"Taehyung-ah," Yoongi said again, his crooked smile marred by the pain on his face. "Are...are you...cold?"

"No, Chagiyah," Taehyung said as he felt tears sting his eyes.

"'M cold..." Yoongi said, his body beginning to shake from the fatal loss of blood.

"Here," Taehyung said as he took off his jacket and laid it over his former lover, his eyes trying to not look at all the blood on the man's shirt.
