Since I already know from experience that people will get excited and ask for an actualization schedule, here is my take on that and probably the one and only time I will address this in detail since I have made mention of these things SEVERAL times before.
I will do my very best to post at least one chapter EVERY Monday. I don't have an exact time since my schedule fluctuates but it will be no later than Monday by 3pm EST if I am going to post that day.
2. Sometimes Monday's are a no-go because of work, and sadly, that cannot be helped. In that case, I will do my best to post on Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, or whenever my schedule allows.
3. So far I am blessed to be several chapters ahead and so I will not be delayed by needing to write new chapters. That being said, I want to keep my lead and so if I start to run low on chapters to post, my updates will be delayed until I can write a chapter to add to my posting cushion in case I need one.
4. As I am sure everyone is aware, we are still in the middle of a never-ending pandemic which creates new and stressful challenges every day of our lives. Right now my challenge is having three (3) school aged children that went from being publicly educated to being privately homeschooled by me, a single parent who works 40 hours at a paying job before coming home and working as a SINGLE PARENT OF THREE KIDS.
5. I can only work on Kidnapped a few hours a day, depending on what is happening from day to day. If I am at home I am home doing home things like cooking and cleaning and laundry and such. Not working on Kidnapped (no matter how much I want to). On weekends I'm not doing Kidnapped at all because I am doing fun things with my family.
6. There may be some weeks I give you all surprise or celebratory updates on top of my regular updates, so please always look forward to those because you never know when they might be.
7. STOP ASKING ME WHEN I AM GOING TO UPDATE THE STORY. I know you all are excited but seriously, it stresses me out and I know that has already been said by myself and my team at least a dozen times. So stop. Please. It makes me want to not even write.
8. Kidnapped and all subsequent stories are free. Unfortunately I don't get paid to write and I don't get paid well enough to clone myself so I can only write on what little free time I have. But I do because I love it. I don't ask for donations or ko-fi or patreon or anything like that so please, enjoy the chapters when they come and know that I am doing my very best to get them to you as quickly and as 'on-schedule' as I can.
