Ashley's P.O.V
I kept my head low as I roamed the streets of London. I was remembering back on when I was 14, it was just a few weeks before I had shot that man. My father had given me a credit card to use for emergencies, which is what I had been using for the past three years. Although, I was in debt because of it, and I couldn't get a job to pay it off. I was in so much trouble if I was ever caught.
I remember how happy I was, until my dad had said it was only for emergencies. My dream was to just go shopping with it and have a total shopping spree with my friends and do anything I wanted. I smiled to the thought of how happy I was three years ago. I couldn't help but let out a few tears, no one would notice if I was crying since my head my down so much that my chin was almost touching my chest.
I walked into a small coffee shop and waiting in line behind a old lady who was taking forever to order. I was tapping my foot against the floor, growing impatient.
"Excuse me?" I tapped her on the shoulder "Do you mind if I quickly order?"
She gave me an evil glare before rolling her eyes "I guess so"
She wasn't a very nice old lady, she was rather grumpy.
"Can I have a latè please?"
"Coming right up" She smiled and headed in towards the kitchen to send in the order.
I waited to the side until she brought it out and handed it over to me "that'll be $2.50"
I took a seat outside and sipped at my coffee while I listened to peoples conversations around me, now had me interested until I heard
"So they still haven't found her?"
"No, they said it has been three years!"
"You get all this inside information since your husband works for the police"
"Bruno even showed me a photo of her just in case I saw her around, I could report back to them"
I saw this as my cue to leave my coffee and run. I
I didn't bother to check the road before I ran across it.
I heard a loud horn beep as a car came to a sudden stop right beside me, brushing wind and knocking me over.
I layed on the floor unharmed with a crown of people rushing towards me, including the wife. I covered my face with my hands
"Stand aside!" A man yelled running and breaking through the crowd, "I'm a doctor"
"I'm fine" I assured as I stood up, grabbing onto the car for balance
The car door opened and a man dressed in black stepped out coming over to me "I'll drive her down to the hospital" He extended his hand helping me up.
The doctor nodded and allowed me to go with a stranger. The only reason I didn't refuse was because I needed a ride to get out of the sight of these ladies.
I kept my head low.
"Hello" A deep voice greeted as I took a seat in the black van.
