Ch 16: xoxo

Ashley's P.O.V

I stood alone in the cold weather, listening to the sounds of the water hit the shore. My feet sank in the sand as the tiny grains rested on my toes. I looked around me, trying to get the strands of hair that the wind was blowing out of my face, but every time I turned my head, my hair would fly in a different direction across my face. I searched my pockets for a hair tie and to my disappointment, there wasn't one, so I used my hands to brush the hair from my face and held it in place just above my shoulder. 

I had already been waiting for over an hour, and I was starting to grow inpatient. Niall was meant to be getting Harry to come down the beach, so that I could  explain to him about that night and make my gesture that I was hoping would show him that I care about him. If I was a guy, I would totally forgive me after seeing what I had planned. 

I heard footsteps rolling up the pathway that was behind the trees that separated the beach and the street from each other. The lights beamed through the open sections of the bushes and then suddenly turned off. I could hear sets of footsteps walking towards me and then the sound of leaves cracking and twigs breaking. A body emerged from the trees and plants, it was Niall, followed by Harry.  His hands in his pockets and an orange Bennie covering his curls, leaving just a few free. 

He had a smile on his face, that was until he saw me standing in the middle of the beach. Niall had to push Harry over towards me because he stopped in his tracks trying to go back to the car, but Niall was fighting him to walk over to me. 

"Hi" my voice came out as a whisper when he stopped in front of me. 
He raised his eyes brows "hi" The words struggled from him lips.

It was like I had forgotten everything I wanted to say, but I hadn't. My words just didn't seem to want to come out, they were rolling at the tip of my tongue.
"So are you going to saysomething?" Harry broke me out of my thoughts. I nodded quickly 
"I want to explain about that night, you never gave me a chance" I said in one breath.
"Ok so here is your chance" He still had his hands in his pockets, a poker face, no expression written on it.
"I just wanted to be ready for the next time, like with a guy I actually feel something for, only half way through did I realise, I wanted the first time to be special, but it was already to late" 

Harry's P.O.V

The moment she had finished her sentence, her chin dropped to her chest, unable to look up at me and  make any eye contact. 
"That's the stupidest reason I have ever heard" I couldn't help but break out into laughter, she turned her gaze to me and gave me an evil glare which made me stop 
"I'm stupid for thinking I could talk to you about this!" She snapped back at me. 
"Sorry" I immediately apologised, "I was just really jealous, because I really like you Ash"
I stepped in closer to her so that our chests were close to touching.
"I feel the same, and I am so sorry for hurting you Harry"

She smiled at me and I placed my hand on her waist. She gave me a cheeky smile and ran away from me, laughing. I rolled my eyes and chases after her.
"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN" She called from the distance, she was making her way into the water.

I ran as fast as I could, soon catching up to her, water up to our knees. I grabbed her from behind, lifting her body up into the air. She let out a squeal and started to kick her legs around in the water as we went deeper in. 
"Harry stop!" She screamed through her laughter.
I placed her on the bay of sand beneath the water,, standing close to each that it was possible to hear each others breathing patterns. It took me back by surprise when she tilted her head and started to move her hands to my chest, and clenching my T shit in her fist, I responded by titling my head forward aswell and closed my eyes just before I reached her face, but I didn't feel a soft pair of lips against mine, instead I felt my body being pushed over into the water and my head going under before splashing around and gaining my balance back. 

"Ashley!" I laughed, flicking water on her, she used her arms as protection over her hair. 
"NO!" She screamed as I pulled her into the water with me, her hair now drenched.

I layed in my wet clothes sticking to my skin, with Ashley pressed on top of me. My heart was racing and I could fell hers too. I flipped her over so that she was laying beneath me and held my arms to side of her bodies so that I would crush her gentle frame. She placed her hands around my neck and started to stroke my neck. A gentle smile formed on her lips, and she bit the bottom of her lips and then let go of it, slowly. I started to tilt my head to the right, I fluttered my eyes to her lips and then back up to her eyes, indicating to her I was about to kiss her. She parted her lips slighty, to make room for one of mine. Before I know it, our lips were intertwined together, moving in sync. I gently sucked on her bottom lips as she gently sucked on my top. I swiped my tongue back and forth on her bottom lip asking for permission and she granted it by opening her mouth a little wider and then meeting my tongue with hers.

We were kissing for a few minutes before she finally pulled away, both of us were out of breath. 
I tumbled onto my back beside her, catching my breath.  
I turned my head over to face her, she was already looking at me with a smile formed on her lips, lighting up her face. She was brighter then a star.

AUTHORS NOTE: Sorry that this chapter is short guys! I just thought that it would be better to leave it short and sweet and ending it with a kiss, there was nothing else that could follow up after the kiss in this chapter so sorry! But anyways, I hope you enjoyed it, and remember to vote and comment on it!
