You came back to hell, or as others knew it, school. You were so done with it. Lessons kept making less sense and you were starting to do worse and worse each day. You didn't have the courage to tell your best friend, Rick, because he would make it all his fault, when it wasn't. You saw him before lessons, in another argument with some road men who makes him do his homework.

"2 pages? That's all you can do nerd?" said the roadmen on the right. "Not you fuckers again? Can't you leave the poor guy alone finally?" you asked and they turned around. They caught your face and looked at each other. They raised their hands, one with the pieces of paper, and took a few steps back. After 5 steps, the turned away from your face and ran. "You need to stand up for yourself, Ricky, I won't always be there." He whispered something back but when you asked then he responded with 'nothing'. You got through English and met him outside on one of the benches.

"Hey! How was art?" you asked, coming up to your friend. "Umm... Fine, listen..." he started to look very  nervous. "Yeah?" you asked. "I was just wondering if you would like to meet up today, after school, at my house." Rick finally looked you in the eye. You nodded and he seemed very excited. You both spent break planning what you're going to watch and other things.

You went to maths but drew on a random piece of paper the whole lesson. You already you would fail the test on Friday. The day got by very fast and you started walking home. You enjoy walking alone, your headphones in and you're in another world. It's like you left all the suffering or entered more, depending on what you were listening to. You always had to travel by bus because your mom had work. You tried your best to hep around the house, but it was too little.

You were home, dressing up casually and putting on your shoes when you heard a honk on the street. You ignored it at first but it kept honking, so you opened the door to see Rick. He was in a red car and looked very dressed up. He didn't look like himself. His short, brown hair was messier then usual and he was wearing a light blue blouse over a black turtle neck, which wasn't that much different from his normal clothes but still made a difference.  "Hey! What are you doing here? I said I could take the bus!" you called to his car. "Well, I thought it might be nice to pick you up. Is that ok?" You smiled and nodded at Ricky, and got inside his car.

You got to his apartment and saw all the decorations. There were fairy lights at every corner. There was a red sofa in the middle of the living room, facing a big, white sheet. Behind the sofa, was a projector so you could tell that the white sheet was for the movie. There were 2 buckets of popcorn next to the sofa. "Awesome. You did this all by yourself?" you turned around to face him and saw him blush while nodding.

You were in the middle of the movie, and you heard him whispering to himself. "Are you ok? You have been whispering quite a while now. You know you can tell me with something was wrong." you burst. He looked at you face and said, "can I show you instead?" You nodded. He sat closer to you, took your cheek and kissed you. You didn't relies this until now, but you loved him. He pulled away after a few seconds but you pushed him closer. "I guess I should've taken all the hints and relised." you said, stopping the kiss. "Yeah." he blushed. You both watched the rest of the movie and he let you stay over, since you didn't have the time to take your keys and you're mom wasn't home until morning. You slept on his bed while he slept on the sofa.

It was midnight, yet you still couldn't sleep. Everything was running through your head, like a river.  The water was moving rapidly and you couldn't concentrate on just one part. You left the room, for a quick glass of water, but once you were out, you saw Ricky lying down on the sofa. His eyes were opened and looking at the ceiling while his hands were resting on his chest. "Can't sleep too?" you asked, stepping closer to see him crying. "Are you ok? Why are you crying?" He looked over to you and said, "I'm fine. More then fine. I'm glad I could finally show you how I feel. I have felt that ever since the first time I saw you. I love you."
