It was her. You were sure of it. She was who you wanted. She never saw you as anything then her best friend. "Hey Jenny... (she didn't know you liked woman either) ...what are you thinking about?" You turned around to face her and your face went pink. "Wh-which to buy." She was your best friend but you still didn't think you could open up to her. She was kind and caring, but you still didn't find the courage to tell her how you feel. "I think that that one sounds nice. The adventure and fun." she pointed at one of the books in your hands. You nodded and put the other one down.

"Please speak to me. We have been friends since primary. Why did you stop?" Sarah asked. You looked down at your feet. Was it time to give up and tell her already? You were about to speak but instead walked over to the cashier. You left the store with her but she didn't try talking to you. She must have been annoyed. "Fine. I'm sorry." you finally looked up and told her. She sighed, her long, brown hair going into her face. "I get it. It's fine. It's hard for you to speak and I should understand that." she looked into the cloudy, blue sky and you looked up with her. It was way more interesting then it seems. "We should be going home quicker, it's going to rain in a bit. Want to come over?" She looked happy and nodded. You both walked and sometime raced but got home before 10 minute could pass.

Right when you stepped inside, the rain started pouring. You were both inside and she proposed a game. "Truth or dare? What do you thing?" You didn't want to tell her about your darkest secrets nor do a crazy dare. Somehow, she still managed to convince you to play. You were both already in your room. Your room was your comfort place, you enjoyed being there alone, while listening to music or trying to escape the whole world. Now, you were thinking that would all change and it would become the place where your crush denied you.

"You may ask first." she said, somehow full of excitement. "Truth or dare then?" you asked and she, without a second thought, said dare. It took you a while to think of a good dare but you soon came up with one. "I dare you to step outside and scream out your crushes name." At first, she looked worried and frightened. She tried asking for truth instead and telling you to switch the dare, but you wouldn't let her. Her eyes were shining and it was so hard for you to deny her. In the end, she gave up. She asked if you had to come and you nodded, because she probably wouldn't do it if you let her go alone. You were in the kitchen door, that leads out into the garden. There wasn't much there, mainly just grass and mud. She stepped to the middle, the rain still pouring and lightly hitting the ground.

Her hair was all wet, which made her brown hair even darker. You weren't sure if she was crying because of the rain but you saw many water droplets on her face. She turned around and stopped facing you. She opened her arms, as if she was about to hug someone, and screamed "I love Jenny!" She turned back around and lightly smiled. You were smiling yet smirking at the same time. You went outside and put both your hands on her cheeks. "I felt the same way this whole time. I should've said something. We would've already been together." Before she could respond, you kissed her. She pushed you away, not hardly or very far away. "I didn't love you like that... But I would love to kiss you again." She kissed you and you starting holding her by her hips.

That... That was a dream...

You woke up alone in your room and shut off your alarm. You started getting ready for another boring day, a day pretending to be ok with her death.
