We were walking with destination. I wasn't aware of the why's or where, I was aware of her. The path reached far, I'm not the most athletic person either. It felt like a mile, but her hand rested in mine. Their fingers laid decorated with cherished rings. Interlocked with my curious hand. Perfection.

A gleaming day, the fireball in the sky as vibrant as ever, people announcing their gratitude towards the earth. The walk was mostly downhill, so i made minimal effort into directing my feet forwards. I started to recognise this place, the shore. Was this a date?

There wasn't anywhere to sit, there were ledges, but the view wasn't desired. We couldn't sit on the rocks, too many people, and we established in not much of a people person. I looked at them with confusion. "Where can we sit?" And at that moment, her face lit up, and they pointed to the top of the hill. I wasn't mad about having to walk up the hill, I'm just lazy. Anything for her. We started carrying ourselves up the hill and I could see the rest of the people become less and less meaningful the further we travelled; they all had their own lives, but that didn't matter. Just me and Jas, once again.

We conquered the hill! It was breathtaking, quite literally. We sat on some overgrown grass and held each-other like we were gonna lose each-other, i cant lose her, not now, not this soon. Hiding amongst the overgrown grass were yellow flowers which many caterpillars decided to make their home. Jas was fascinated by this, she took an interest in such a small creature, just living. We eventually got bored of examining one of earths many creations and turned to the view for comfort. The clouds drifted around, but they were faded, just enough for the sun to be able to reach through and target our body's. The sea was out, it looked so clean and calm from up here. Therapeutic. I should've been admiring the view, but I was admiring her.

The clock started to reach our limit and we had to part from the shore, although we wanted to spend as much time together as possible. Fools in love. Can i even call it love? Is it too soon?

We dedicated our last 20 minutes together to an adventure, we stood up abruptly and made our way down to the people we didn't think were meaningful. It was as beautiful down here. Because Jas was there.

We made a discovery, a cave! Could i fit into this cave? Probably not. Am I going to try anyway? Most definitely. After slithering half of my body through the caves opening. I realised this would never work.

I was stuck.

She laughed with me, and continued to help me untangle my body from the caves domain. We lingered outside of the cave for a while, mumbling about everything and nothing, their head embedded into my shoulder; our eyes as bright as the stars. A sense of hope. We overlooked the sea, and admired the sun beginning to fade away. With the little light provided by nature we had, me and Jas continued home. We gave eachother a rock from the shore, to keep with us when we are parted.

Forever and always.
