Our story does not start nor end happy and joyful for our protagonist like every fairytale you were told when little. Every story has a hero and a villain. Someone who is dazzling and divine and another who is full of sorrow and affliction.
Here let me give you a few hints to guess who the main character is. His mind doesn't let him sleep, his favorite animal is a cat, he has purple hair that never gets out of his face, and his surname rhymes with shit show.If you guessed Shinso Hitoshi as the unfortunate soul you would be correct.

∙∙·▫▫ᵒᴼᵒ▫ₒₒₒₒ▫ᵒᴼᵒ▫▫·∙∙Hitoshi sits up in his old bed quickly, effectively hitting his head on the bottom of the other boy's bunk. "What the fuck," he whispered to himself, rubbing his forehead. Hitoshi looks out the small window in his shared room. 'It's still dark out so why is my alarm going off?'
He reaches out to the window seal where his phone was resting and turns off his alarm. 'Shit I forgot about that.' He slips out of his bed and creeps over to a chest that laid at the front of his bed, careful to not disturb the other five males in the room. The dark wood chest had his name painted purple in cursive. It opens, revealing neatly folded clothes that were mostly hoodies and darkly colored clothing.
Hitoshi grabs a uniform that sat on the top and quietly walking to the connected bathroom, changing quickly. Once done, he grabbed a jacket to put over the uniform due to the cold weather recently. He walked to the small window and open it slowly. Picking up his already packed backpack by the window, he climbs out of the small opening. Slowly lowering himself onto the ledge of the roof. Expertly inching his feet across the small ledge, he made his way to a tree. 'Getting off the third floor would be a lot harder if the tree wasn't planted there'.
He grasped onto the thick branch and wrap his legs around it. Hitoshi climbed down the branch to the base of the tree with ease. After jumping off the tree and onto the ground he makes it to the orphanage's old gates. He shoves them open, making sure to close them behind him, and booked it down the street. Once he knew it was safe he slowed to a walk, listening to music as he made his way into town.
After a good twenty minutes, he ends up at a small café. Hitoshi takes off the lanyard that was hanging off his neck he unlocks the door. He walked in and started prepping the place for opening.
Turning on all the lights, making the fresh baked goods, connecting his phone to the speakers to play his Spotify playlist, cleaning any leftover dirty dishes, etc. "Done!" He tiredly exclaimed to no one in particular. He wiped his flower-covered hands onto his apron and walk over to the front door, flicking on the bright 'Now Open' neon sign as it turned half-past eight. He made his way behind the counter near the cash register and waited for the regulars to come in while he plays a game and listens to his music. Almost exactly ten minutes later his favorite regulars walk through the door. A blonde girl drags two clearly tired males behind her as she leads them to the bar seats. She wore a big, zipped-up, navy blue hoodie with the hood blocking her face, a maroon knee-length skirt, and a dark blue facemask.
"Good morning Shinso!" The girl exclaims happily at the teen. She looked as if she was vibrating in her seat but that wouldn't surprise anyone if she was. She has always been a morning person but the other two looked like they were about to collapse at any second.
