Clary was wrong. Once Edward Cullen was back in town, along with his creepy pale siblings, he didn't leave her sister alone; in fact, he seemed to be more and more intrigued by her as the time went by. Today was the fourth day in row that Clary has seen them together and boy, was she not thrilled.

Truth to be told, she wasn't comfortable at all with her younger sister anywhere near that bunch of weirdos. The Cullens had never made a single friend since they moved to Forks a couple of years ago, so why the hell was one of them suddenly so keen of getting to know her clumsy little sister?

She had a strange feeling, her gut was telling her that something was off. You see, with Clary there was this teeny tiny thing that would make her stand out even more than her bright red hair and emerald eyes if people were to know and that was her 'sixth sense.'

Whenever something bad was about to happen, Clary always seemed to one way or another waltz away just in time to watch the catastrophe unfold from a safe distance. May it not be the front row, still she found herself close enough to have a good view of the shit shows that were following her everywhere and anywhere she went.

Most of the time she didn't know the exact situations nor the people in danger, but she knew something would eventually go wrong. In her point of view, it was a curse; for someone like Clary to know that something is coming but not being able to tell who was going to suffer felt like her own personal punishment. She was never capable of saving anyone before the hell broke loose. Not when that man was crossing the street and got run over by the red and blue Peterbilt, not even back then when she was sitting in Renee's car and the drunk driver thought it would be fun if he drove in the opposite direction he was supposed to... This time was no different. She could only wait and hope that her sister wasn't digging herself a grave.

Clary's thoughts were disturbed when all of sudden her iPhone went off. Once she read the name on the screen she couldn't help but smiled while letting her finger swipe across the screen as she quickly answered the call. "Hey babe. How's Seattle treating you?" She asked before her lips curled into her signature smirk.

Ally chuckled at her best friend, a huge smile on her face. "Good, good. What about you? How's Charlie and Bella?"

Shivers went down Clary's spine the second Ally mentioned her sister; she felt like she forgot about something and the information was buried deep inside her brain, scratching the furthest surface of her consciousness, but quickly slipping away before it got close enough for her to realize. It was frustrating. "They're good. Uh, Charlie's still his old grumpy self and Bella-" she grimaced as the image of her sister getting hit by a ball crossed her mind "Bella is Bella. Well a better version of herself really... We didn't argue since her first day here which I personally think is a miracle."
