DID YOU EVER HAVE THIS FEELING,
like something bad is going to happen? Well, Clary did, and she had never been wrong before. She's been watching her adoptive father from afar, and even though he tried to play it cool, she didn't miss the fact that something was of. She just couldn't put her finger on it, sometimes she could swear she had sixth sense, such as knowing when something was wrong. He was also quiet. Well, the thing is, he's always quiet, this time however, he was being like super quiet. ''Dad? What's wrong?''

Charlie Swan looked up from the newspaper, scratching the back of his neck, he tried to come up with an idea how to tell his older daughter that her sister, which she hadn't seen in forever was coming to live with them. How to tell her and still be able to keep his head attached to his neck was the question he was pondering over. ''Renee called.''

The ginger-haired girl spun around so fast that for a minute she thought she got herself a whiplash. ''Really?'' Although she tried to sound neutral, the shock was evident in her voice. ''What did she say?''

The sheriff shifted under the fierce look of his older daughter, all of sudden his hands seemed way more interesting than anything else. ''We talked about Bella mostly.''

Of course you did. She mused. It was always Bella this, and Bella that. Clary hold back the snarky comment, paying no mind to the anger, which was starting to bubble inside of her, she turned around and continued in washing up the dishes. ''She's coming this weekend.''

Now that was new. Did the Hell actually freeze over so that her younger step sister finally come for a visit? This time she turned around slowly, her perfectly shaped eye brow raised high. ''She's coming here? For a visit?''

Charlie shifted in his seat, he felt rather uncomfortable, knowing what exactly Clary thought about Bella since she had given him her opinion on her more times than he could count. All of them being very loud and not pleasant to hear. ''Actually, she's going to stay for some time.''

''What?! '' Clary's eyes narrowed and her lips formed into a sneer. She couldn't believe what she just heard. Was it some stupid joke? Was her father trying to prank her? Man, how she hoped he was. Bella stopped visiting and calling a long time ago, by her own choice, so why would she all of sudden want to come?

''Renee and Phil are going to travel for some time because of Phil's job and you know how Bella feels about traveling.'' The sheriff scratched the back of his neck, he's been doing that a lot lately, he looked everywhere except the place where his daughter was standing.

''She hasn't called nor visited us for six years. The last time she was here she left earlier because you refused to buy her a barbie doll and she called me a spoiled brat. She's been ignoring us since. And now she wants to come back because it's best for her?'' Clary wasn't angry, no. She was mad. Not at her father, it wasn't his fault after all, Bella was his daughter and Clary knew he could never stop loving her. Bella however, was a whole different story. In Clary's eyes, Bella was just a spoiled bitch, and the situation they were in was just another example of how she always got everything she wanted.

''She hasn't been ignoring us. She just didn't have time to answer all of my emails.'' Charlie reasoned.

Clary sighed. Whether her father really believed that, or just refused to see the truth, she didn't know. ''That still doesn't change the fact she's doing this only for her own benefit and that you should've said no.''

''She's still your sister. And you're not really angry, just hurt.'' Charlie stated, but the only reply was a loud bang as the front door was slammed shut.

Letting out a breath, Charlie didn't even know he was holding, he sunk lower into his chair. He reached out for the newspaper, opening them on the page he closed them, he let out a satisfied hum. ''That went better than expected.''
