This can't be happening

The doorbell rings once again as howler went to go answer it and was surprised to see that it was Rocco at the door

"Feliz Navidad!"

Was all he was able to say before the doors slammed in his face

"Howler did you just slammed the door on a guess?"

Her mom came from the kitchen and

"Maybe..."

"Don't be rude and open the door"

"but Mom I don't want to deal with people on my day off"

"We could either do that or I can put you in time out"

"Fine!"

Howler said opening the door again and putting on a fake smile

"So sorry about slamming the door in your face I think it was the wind"

"Very funny short stack"

Rocco said ruffling her hair and she slapped his hand away

"Are you just coming up with all of these nicknames so I can beat you up?"

She asked him as she stepped aside allowing him to walk in

"You can sure try"

He said not phase by her little threat. Her mom Greeted Rocco and was happy to have him over as he liked her for inviting him over are the Christmas gathering

" mom this isn't fair I mean isn't the rest of our family supposed to come over?"

Howler asked

" of course the whole family is coming over but what's the harm in allowing your friends to come over as well?"

"... I'm not even going to answer that mother"

Howler said as Azura came from the kitchen with a kiss the cook apron on waving to Rocco a statue of them went into the kitchen as the Mom needed help taking the rest of the cookies and the celebration food. Howler had nothing to say about this, You want to go sit on the couch and turn on the TV believing that they will be more visitors coming soon and he was actually correct, she went to the door as soon as she heard the doorbell rang and used when she saw Whitney

"Really, you to?"

"What, your mother said you wouldn't mind the company"

"And you believed her?"

"It was this or dealing with my family"

"I Would rather you go home then"

Howler said as she giggled and walked into the house

"You know you don't mean that , you missed me "

"If I said yes would that make you go home even faster?"

"It's only for one day howler so give it a rest"

Whitney said hanging up her coat as the mother came out of the kitchen to greet her

"How does mom know Whitney?"

Howler thought as azura came out of the kitchen with a cookie

"A cookie for your thought?"

She asked bitting the head off as howler looked to Azura and knew how this was happening

"Azura , let me guess you have a big mouth and told my mother everything?"

Azura was quite as she nibbled on the cookie and shrugged only for her to be tackled to the ground by howler who was trying to kill her but Azura made it look like they were paying as she pinned howler down to not worry the mother that they were fighting.

"Chill howler and let me explain"

Azura said as howler was struggling to get her off her

"Im. going to. Kill you!"

Howler said between breathing as Azura giggled

" that would be the day. So anyway before you kill me, i ran into your mother at the mall and we started talking and then the next thing i know she asked me to come to a Christmas party "

"And what about the others?"

"She wanted to know if you had any other friends and I said yes"

Howler hated Azura more than ever because of this but there was nothing she could do to fix or stop this, that's when Whitney walked in to see what was going on

"Is something wrong?"

"If you have a magical spell to make this whole Christmas party disappear and not happen I will be forever grateful"

She said looking to Whitney

"Howler it's only for one day what is wrong with you trying to destroy a Christmas party?"

Whitney asked her

"okay first off I didn't ask for this Christmas party a second of all my mother ran into this troublemaker and she blurted everything out like a cannonball and now for all I know everyone is coming here to spend Christmas when they could have done it somewhere else"

"Aw, if someone being a Christmas scrooge?"

Rocco said coming into the living room where the girls were

"Zip It Rock boy or else I'll douse you in water!"

howler said to the gargoyle as Rocco laughed

"Don't worry about the little one she doesn't mean anything she says... Sometimes"

Rocco introduced himself to Whitney as the two of them got acquainted.

"Shouldn't there be more people coming?"

Whitney asked us there was another ring at the door so Rocco went to answer it and saw a tall Sasquatch girl and another girl 

"Howler it's been so long I missed you!"

Samantha said giving her a bear hug

"I've missed you too but... I can't breathe"

howler  said trying to breathe as Samantha let her go as she dropped to the ground

"Wow you're tall"

Rocco said looking at Samantha as she giggles

"Hello, it's very nice to meet you my name is Samantha Sasquatch and you?"

Rocco gargoyle it's very nice to make your acquaintance it seems like you're not the only one who is friends with howler here

"Nope and it's kind of amazing that she has so many friends"

"Really?"

Rocco said then looked to howler as she didn't seem like the friendly type but hey anything can happen.

"And you?"

Rocco asked looking at the other girl

"Hello my name is Sasha Doolittle, My pleasure to meet you"

" there's no need for you to be that polite Sasha"

Howler said with her arms cross

"Oh right, um I don't know what to bring but my mother thought it would be nice that i made a cake "

She said holding up a german Chocolate cake. Once everyone was inside it really started to get festive, the only one that didn't seem to be having fun was howler.

She didn't want to be the bum of the party but how could she not when every monster she meets was at her house, Azura was cracking jokes as Whitney was trying to be as nice as possible but would set Azura straight when her jokes aren't so nice or funny. But then again she was stupid she had alo9t of friends, she didn't think when she started school she would ever make any even when she started to change, she did promise her mother that she would be good and she has but now looking at what she gains after all that she was really surprised
