Howler check back with her friend Whitney about the blackmail but Whitney wasn't able to find anything even from the fingerprints on the fire alarm she tried to get as she figured that whoever did it had gloves on in order to cover their tracks.
"So now what do we do?" howler askd
"Relax I got you covered and to make this work is sort of my strong point," Whitney said
"Let me guess you read all the novels of Nancy Drew"
"... maybe, and besides, it's not about me it's about you"
"Sure let's change the subject to cover up your nerdiness"
howler said with a laugh
"Howler!"
"Ok ok sorry, so why not use magic to solve this?"
"Magic doesn't work like that"
She said
"Well tell me something good"
"I would but I got nothing"
Whitney said as howler sigh. The days went on without howler being blamed for something and even when things calm down for a few days howler still wanted to know who was trying to get her expelled. Howler later gave up on the little detective work and tried to enjoy school only to see her friend mina hasn't been around lately and when she was she would leave the stupid excuse. one day howler and Whitney was working on there homework together within there room
"Hey Whitney, have you see mina?"
Howler asked her
"Uh at the library why?"
Whitney asked as howler thought about it
"I'm not sure why I asked oh nevermind"
Howler said getting back to work, an hour later she asked again and Whitney started to see howler was worried but didn't want to say it
"If I tell you where she is will you promised to stop asking?"
"Sure"
"Normally I see her in the science lab and in the library I know she was a busy person but she's a study holic"
"Oh like you miss perfect?"
Howler said teasing Whitney, for some reason Howler asked Whitney to keep an eye on mina and to do a little snooping while she's at it, Whitney didn't feel like this is such a good idea but from howler suspicions about what was going on she wanted to know if Mina was as pure as she said
