Book 9: New wolf new friend

2 months later after that the whole family reunions thing, howler went to her parents and had a long talk with them about her actions and wanted to be honest with them for once on why she was acting the way she was. She apologized to them for everything that she has done and for how she acted

The mother forgave her and gave her one last chance that if she can behave then she will be able to go back to school until then she had to stay home and help around the house and with her little siblings and prove that she has learned her lesson. even though this was going to be a very hard task for howler she had to do it in order to get out of this house as she felt cabin fever already.

A couple Of days later howler did everything her mother Ask her to do and try to be on her best behavior even though it was very tough for her to not pick a fight with her brother clawd, he was trying to take advantage of this and make her do his chores so to get back at him she pulled a prank which he tried to tattle on her but had no proof. There was good and bad things that holler started to learn from being on this house arrest as of now she felt like she didn't have to be bad to get her ways, just knowing that her mother and her sister trust her again was enough for her to actually relax

but some things never change as howleen still didn't trust her and thought that she was just making this whole thing up just so she can get back at her for everything that she did in the past if howleen actually saw her sister as evil as she thought the only thing that holler could really do was ignore her and just how to change for her own self, not for those that thought she was a bad person. one morning my mother asked her to go shopping for her as they were out of some products

her mother made her list and handed her some money.

" Please hurry back and if you want you can take howleen with you"

the mother said as howler shook her head

" no thank you, mother, I'll carry the bags all by myself I don't need help. and even if I did take her along she would just make up a story of something that I didn't do"

Howler said with a sigh

" give your sister some time she's going through a rough time in high school now that she's with the older monsters. she's trying to find herself and she still hasn't found it yet"

" Is that why she's following clawdeen around and stealing her things?"

" that's what you used to do with Clawdia remember? "

the mother said as a Faint blush appeared on howler's cheeks as she took the list and headed out the door. she did remember all the time she did try to follow her big sister Clawdia has she had her so much, she loved how she would make up stories and tell it to her almost making it seem like it actually happens to her, but now that she was older howler knew that all Clawdia stories were just make-believe but either way and wish that she could hear the many tales of Adventure of Clawdia once again. A smile crept to her face and she started to remember all the times she had with her sister but only to shake her head of the memories not wanting to get too lost in them and forget what she is really out To to do. she later entered the Grocery store and grab the basket and walk down the looking at the list and picking up the items that was needed, there was some items that weren't needed but she's decided that she deserves a snack on the way back since she was the one carrying everything by herself. after checking out she picked up the bags before popping some candy in her mouth and headed on home. as she was walking down the street ready to cross the busy road watching the car as carefully as they made their turn she waited for the Crossing light blink red allowing her to walk

" Funny meeting you here"

Said a voice as she turned next to her to see that it was that big grey gargoyle that she met before, she forgot his name as she only turned around to look at the sign saying that she was allowed to walk,

" do I know you?"

"you forgot already?"

the gargoyle asks raising an eyebrow has Howler rolled her eyes and started to walk across the street only to hear him call out to her but she ignored him but then heard a honking sound making her eyes widen when she saw a big truck heading her way she was quickly pushed out of the way being saved by the gargoyle as the groceries and her hands were all over the pavement.

" are you okay?"

the gargoyle breathing Heavenly as he had Howler in his arms, Howler nodded and she didn't know why this gargoyle was being so nice to her.

" I'm glad that you're okay, you don't seem to be hurt, just freaked out. about your groceries , I'm so sorry about it but it was either  Food or you being flattened like a pancake"

" thank you"

Howler finally mustered up to say as he only laughed at this when she spoke.

"Anytime to be honest I was actually glad that I ran into you"

the gargoyle said as she only nodded she took out the wallet that was in her back pocket and saw that she didn't have enough to buy all the groceries back

" I guess Mom is going to be super upset when I tell her what happened today"

" your mother is going to be mad at you for almost being killed by a truck?"

" no, she's going to be mad that i Lost the groceries "

Howler said, as the gargoyle only thought for a moment before he asked her to take him to her house so he can explain to the Mother what happened so howler wouldn't get in trouble.

"There's no need for that, I can take care of it myself"

she said thanking him once again and she turned and started to head home to see that he was following her and told her that he wasn't going anywhere until the situation gets fixed. headed home with a gargoyle following behind her that one's home she explained everything to her mother who was super duper thankful to the gargoyle Rocco for saving her daughter and told Howler not too worried about the stuff that she would get it on her next day off

" it was nice running into you, will have to learn maybe next time when you're not trying to be hit by a truck we can actually hang out"

" But you don't even know me, why are you being so nice?"

" let's just say you spark an interest in me"

" Please tell me you're not in love with me?"

Tyler said in disgust ASRock only laughed again

"no no I'm already with someone but I mean that as in a friendly way"

" you're too friendly Rocco"

" I can be when I want to be and I can be very mean to those I don't like"

he said as Howler only looked at him Confused, Rocco said his goodbyes and walked away. When Rocco left Howler didn't understand Why he was being so friendly towards her after letting go Azura she thought making another friend would be kind of hard being without her but as for Rocco's demeanor she felt like she has to be on guard in case the situation turned out to be another one of Romulus tricks.
