IT HAS BEEN FIVE DAYS SINCE THE LETTERS STOPPED SHOWING UP.

you didn't even know what happened, you were so excited to go to school one day to read the note and it wasn't there.

at first you thought maybe they forgot. maybe i'll get them tomorrow.

oh how wrong you were.

the notes didn't make an appearance and it was slowly crushing you.

you didn't even know why, but when you read those notes you felt at comfort, happy, safe.

and now you're just sad. you do think you're overreacting, i mean it's just a note? why would it matter so much?

but it does matter. it does and you don't know why.

"you okay?" julie asked when she saw you playing with your food.

she and flynn aren't stupid, they knew about the note's absence and your lack of happiness lately.

just like a certain boy in julie's garage.

you turned your head around to look at her noticing her furrowed eyebrows, "uh yeah." you replied while faking a smile.

"you sure?" flynn asked, grabbing your hand softly.

you let out a shaky breath and said, "no."

"wanna talk about it?" julie asked. you don't even know what you did to deserve such amazing friends in your life.

"it's just the notes," you started playing with your fingers nervously. "it just stopped coming. it's so stupid but i don't know why i feel so sad about it." your shoulders slumped, as you shook your head.

"it's not stupid." julie said softly.

"yeah, now eat your food right now or i'll feed it to you." flynn threatens. she has been noticing how you didn't eat when lunch anymore and it's worrying her.

julie look at flynn in disbelief, while you just let out a laugh, it's not often you see 'mom flynn' but if you do then you're in big trouble.

"flynn!" julie scolded at her tone.

"what? it's true! the last time i saw she eat lunch was like three days ago." flynn said as she grabbed your sandwich and broke it into tiny pieces for you to easily bite.
