"And, so...when Jimin's feeling like that, he...acts...like a child: A little space is a mindset in which an adult relaxes into a state of carefree, responsobility-free safety. It may be a devoped time in which an adult relives childhood memories, scenarios, or desires that were unachievable during their childhood." V explained, trying to explain it the best to his knowledge.
Haneul simply just nodded, looking over to his 39 year old father with a blue binky in his mouth while scribbling in a Disney coloring book.
"It has nothing to do with his brain, he's not mentally insane or anything, okay? He doesn't want you to know, but I think you should." V told him. "Haneul, I know you might be a little freaked out-" "It's just...I never knew about it. How come I don't know about it?" Haneul asked V.
"Um...they don't...teach it in school. I'm sorry you don't understand- but I can show you how to take take of Jimin when he's like this if you want." V added. "I don't like children." Haneul awkwardly told him. "At all. That's the problem." He added, looking into V's eyes. "Uh..."
"I-"
"Dada I finished!" Jimin smiled, turning around and running over to V with his coloring book. "Oh- it's very good, Jiminie!" V smiled, even though he could barely see the rainbow.
"I know." Jimin giggled, swaying slightly back and forth. V laughed. "Can we gwo to da park, Tae Tae?" The little asked, biting his lip as he looked at Haneul. "I don't think so, Jiminie. It's almost time for dinner, we can't eat past eight. And it's almost six." V told him, frowning at Jimin. "Bwut I wan' two go to da park!" Jimin whined. "I know-" "JIMINIE WANNA GO TO DA PARK!" The little yelled, and V immediately stood up.
"Jimin. We don't yell when we want something, do we?" V asked seriously. The little nibbled on his bottom lip. "Bwut Jiminie-" "I know you want to go to the park. But I said no. And no means no, remember? Tae Tae said no." V interrupted him. "Bwut-" V stared into Jimin's eyes, and the little grumbled out an unhappy 'fine'. "Okay. Tae Tae's going to make dinner. Why don't you go play in your room, or continue coloring?" V suggested. Jimin huffed, and scrambled off to his room to grab his Chimmy plushie and color.
"I'm going to go to my room." Haneul told V, hopping off the chair in the dining room and walking off towards his room with his phone in his hands.
"Okay..." V nodded, and turned around with a sigh. "Just you and me, kitchen." He laughed, stepping into the kitchen and glaring at the counter like he would fight it. "Whatever you throw at me, I will catch. I will." V told the kithen counter, laughing when he realized what he was doing.
"Anygay, time to make food. Fun."
-45 minutes later-
"Jiminie, you have to eat it. To be strong and healthy."
"Fine."
Haneul was now definately weirded out by Jimin's behavior, and the thin white blouse he was wearing was exposing quite a lot- espically his thighs. The blouse covered his lower half, but his thighs were on show for the world. V thought it was absolutely adorable, but he knew Haneul found it weird.
The little fed his dog plushie with a yellow hoodie, telling it that it needed to eat to be big and strong. He of course ate it himself, but his imagination was working quite well in a head space like this.
V was too caught up cooing at Jimin, he didn't realize Haneul had finished until there was a loud crash from the kithen.
"OW!"
"HANEUL!"
The little looked up cluelessly as V ran over to Haneul, and held onto Chimmy when he sensed panic.
