"It's not spotless."
"Dad-!" "HE'S NOT HELPING YOU, HANEUL!" Jungkook shouted at Haneul, making Haneul start to cry again. "You're not my boss, old man!" Haneul yelled back at Jungkook once every single electronic of his was in the trash. "You wanna say that again?"
"You are not my boss, old crippled man."
Jin stopped Jungkook from slapping the kid across the face, and pushed Jungkook back. "Haneul, clean up your room right now." Jin told the teenager sternly. "No." Haneul responded firmly. Jin went into Haneul's closet, and took out his black leather jacket that Jimin worked 80 hours for.
"NO PLEASE DON'T RIP IT PLEASE!" Haneul screamed as Jin held the jacket in a ripping position. He ran to take his jacket back, but Jin kept him away. "PLEASE DON'T RIP IT!" Haneul yelled at him. "This jacket is your father's heart."
Jin ripped the jacket in half.
Even Yoongi was shocked at Jin's actions.
"NO!" Haneul burst into heavy tears, falling to his knees to grab his jacket. "You see that thick stitch line? That's called a seam. Once a seam is broken in a clothing, there's no fixing it." Jin explained, pointing to the now ripped seam. Haneul sobbed harder at Jin's words, holding his favorite jacket against his chest. "Your phone should've gotten the message across. Looks like all it took was a simple jacket." Jin told him, going into his closet for another jacket.
"N-no, I-I'm sorry, p-please- I-I'll clean my r-room, I-I promise." Haneul cried, not much mental energy to do much anymore. "Alright then. Get to work." Jin turned around, leaving Haneul's clothes alone, and standing by the doorway.
Hoseok had removed the door from the hinges, taking away Haneul's privacy.
Within 5 minutes, Haneul was back to cleaning his room.
Jimin watched helplessly as his son cleaned up his room shedding tears. Namjoon and Hoseok were not letting him do or say a thing, and he didn't know if it was for the good, or for the bad.
"What did I do wrong to make him say those things to me?" He kept asking himself. And his friends kept telling him that it wasn't him, it was the people Haneul was hanging out with. And Jimin was left to believe them, because they wouldn't accept any other answer.
Hoseok helped with dinner, and Jimin played with the ends of his long sleeves once they were done.
"Does it look okay?" Haneul's voice was much softer now, and his eyes were no longer filled with anger but sadness. "I don't know, does it?" Jin asked, motioning for Haneul to answer the question himself. Haneul took a very slow turn around the middle of his room, carefully scanning every little spot. He saw something shiney, and went over near his bed. He picked it up, and threw it into his trash can.
Again, he stood in the middle of his room, and carefully scanned everything.
"I-I think it looks okay." Haneul told Jin nervously, completely worn out from all of the movements. "Me too." Jin nodded slightly, and he could see Haneul's eyes light up. "Remember when I was gone a bit ago?" He asked, motioning for Yoongi. "Yeah..." Haneul mumbled, remembering when Jin had left for an hour, and Yoongi was in charge of making sure he stayed on task.
Yoongi handed something to Jin behind his back, and the eldest kept it there. "Do you remember what you said to your father, who spent 14 years loving and taking care of you?" Jin asked. Haneul looked between Jimin and Jin, and fiddled with his shirt awkwardly. "Y-yeah." He answered, looking back at Jin. "Do you understand what that did to him, based off of what just happened to you?" Jin questioned. "Yeah..." Haneul started tearing up again.
"Don't you think you should say something to him?" Jin tilted his head to his left a bit, and Haneul got the message.
"...dad- I'm really really sorry, I shouldn't have said those things to you. I didn't mean to hurt you like I did, I don't want to cause you any more stress than you already have...I shouldn't have said the things I did, or do the things I did, because I love you dad, and I don't want to be alone or make you feel alone..." Haneul apologized, looking straight into Jimin's eyes. "It's fine-" "No it's not, Jimin." Namjoon interrupted him.
Jimin huffed.
"Yeah, it really hurt, you know. I thought I was doing a good job, then you don't tell me about a project I could've helped you with, you bring back a random girl from school, and you straight up offended and hurt me, to the point I had to call over my friends because I couldn't stand for you to see me- and I don't want to be sensitive but god damn, Haneul." Jimin vented, breaking Haneul's already shattered heart.
"Much better-" "There's a girl involved?" Jungkook asked. "Jungkook no- it really was for a project, he just didn't tell me before." Jimin quickly explained. "Seems like we need to work on some communication skills, hm?" Jungkook suggested.
"Okay, thanks for destroying everything I've worked hard for, but he is my son and I will teach him what he needs to be taught, not you." Jimin told Jungkook, shifting his weight to his other leg. "Fine then." Jungkook nodded.
"Thank you for doing as you were told, Haneul. I know it seems like we went a bit far, but you really needed to calm your teenage a*s down." Jin handed Haneul the item behind his back, and the child instantly gasped loud enough for the neighbors to hear.
"OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH UNCLE JIN I'M SORRY I WON'T DO IT AGAIN I SWEAR!" Haneul shrieked with joy, holding a newer designed black leather jacket, with inside pockets. "You better not." Jin told him, walking out of Haneul's room.
Jimin faced his 5 friends while Haneul was literally cuddling his new jacket in his room.
"You guys really didn't need to come here and-" "You asked us, of course we're going to help. No offense, but he was being a straight up homophobic little b*tch." Namjoon joked, making Jimin smile. "Yeah, he was..." Jimin mumbled. "But, thank you, really...just don't keep coming here and stealing the valuable lessons I'm supposed to be teaching Haneul, okay?" He laughed. Everyone agreed with a smile, and left with a firm nod to Haneul.
The second everyone had left, Haneul ran up to Jimin and hugged him tightly. "I really am sorry, please forgive me, dad." Haneul told him, suffocating him jokingly. "I forgive you, Haneul." Jimin smiled weakly, running his hand through Haneul's hair like V used to do.
"Why don't we have some dinner, you've worked hard."
"I'd offer to make something, but you and uncle Hoseok already made it..." Haneul laughed awkwardly. "No no no, Haneul- it's really okay. Let's go eat." Jimin smiled, walking over into the kitchen. Haneul followed, and sat down at the table.
