Emilie's POV
I woke up and got dressed in skinny jeans, a tank top with phases of the moon on it, a tan trench coat, black scarf, and brown boots. I walked downstairs and Isabelle handed me a bag of heated up small chocolate chip pancakes. Stiles and I shared them while he drove to school. We got out and I walked up to a Scott. "Hey." I said and he turned scared. "Oh hey Millie." He said. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Derek is making Sage and I stay away from Allison." Scott said. "Stay away from Allison. Stay away from Allison. Stay away from Allison. Stay away from Allison. Stay away from Allison. Just stay away from Allison." Sage said walking by us. "Well this is bad considering he's dating Allison." I said to Scott who nodded. "Stay away from Jackson. Just stay away from Jackson." Sage said walking by us again.  "Hey, Sage." Lydia said. "Oh, come on!" Sage yelled. I started giggling with Scott. We all sat down and Stiles was ignoring Scott and Sage. "Still not talking to us?" Sage asked. "Can you at least tell us if your dad's okay? I mean, it's just a bruise, right?" Scott said. "Some soft tissue damage? Nothing that big?" Sage asked. "You know we feel really bad about it, right? Okay. What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and... That I went to Derek for help?" Scott said. "If I was talking to you, I'd say that you're an idiot for trusting him. But obviously I'm not talking to you." Stiles said. It was now lunch and Scott and I bought our lunches.

We sat down and I turned to the twins

We sat down and I turned to the twins. "What did he say?" I asked the two. They told us. "He wants you two, to tap into your animal side and get angry?" Stiles asked. "Yeah." Scott and Sage said in unison. "All right, well, correct me if I'm wrong, but every time you do that, you try to kill someone, and that someone's usually me and you get overly protective over Emmy." Stiles said. "We know. That's what he means when he says he doesn't know if he can teach us." Scott said. "We have to be able to control it." Sage said. "Well, how's he gonna teach you to do that?" I asked. "We don't know. We don't think he does either." Scott said. "Okay. When are you seeing him again?" Stiles asked. "Just told us not to talk about it." Sage said. "Just act normal and get through the day." Scott said. "When?" I asked. "He's picking us up at the animal clinic after work." Sage said. "After work. All right, well, that gives us to the end of the school day then." Stiles and I said. "To do what?" Scott asked. "To teach you ourselves." I said smirking. "So did you two come up with a plan already?" Sage asked. "I think so." Stiles said. "Does that mean you don't hate us now?" Scott asked. "No." Stiles said. "But your crap has infiltrated our life, so now we have to do something about it." I said. "Plus I'm definitely a better Yoda than Derek." Stiles said. "Okay, yeah, you teach us." Sage said smiling. "Yeah, I'll be your Yoda." Stiles said. "Yeah, you be my Yoda." Scott said. "Your Yoda I will be. I said it backwards." Stiles said. "Yeah, I know." Scott said. "All right, you know what? I definitely still hate you." Stiles said. "This is not gonna be easy." I mumbled. "I'll help you guys." Conner said. "Why?" Scott and Sage asked. "Simple I don't want my aunt or Dad putting a bullet in you two." Conner said. We nodded. We were now out on the lacrosse field. "Put this on." Stiles said. "Isn't this one of the heart rate monitors for the track team?" Scott asked. "Yeah, I borrowed it." Conner said. "Stole it." Sage said to the man. "Temporarily misappropriated." I said. "Coach uses it to monitor his heart rate with his phone while he jogs, and you're gonna wear it for the rest of the day." Conner said. "Isn't that Coach's phone?" Sage asked seeing me holding the phone. "This, I stole." I said. "Why?" Scott asked. "All right, well, your heart rate goes up when you go wolf, right? When you're playing lacrosse, when Sage is with Allison or in Scott's case Emilie, whenever you get angry. Maybe learning to control it is tied to learning to control your heart rate." Stiles said. "Like The Incredible Hulk." Sage said. "Please never mention the Incredible Hulk movie." I said hating that version. "Kind of like The Incredible Hulk, yeah." Conner said. "No, I'm like The Incredible Hulk..." Sage trailed off. "Would you shut up and put the strap on." Conner said. "This isn't exactly how I wanted to spend my free period." Scott said. "Yeah and I didn't expect to be student teaching at a school with twin werewolves." Conner said. "All right. You both ready?" Stiles asked. "No." They both said. "Remember, don't get angry." I said and punched them both hard. "I'm starting to think this was a really bad idea." Scott said after I decked him. "Oh! Okay, that one kind of hurt." Sage groaned after I kicked him in the stomach. "Quiet. Remember, you're supposed to be thinking about your heart rate, all right? About staying calm." Stiles said. "Stay calm. Staying calm. Staying totally calm." Scott mumbled while I kept kicking their asses. "Son of a bitch!" Sage groaned as I saw Stiles now hitting Sage with lacrosse balls. "You know what? I think my aim is actually improving." Stiles said hitting Scott with one. "Wonder why." Scott groaned. "Don't get angry." Conner said. "I'm not getting angry." Scott growled. "Stop. Just wait. Wait, just hold on." Sage said. "Sage?" Conner asked. "Sage, you started to change. From anger." I said and he calmed down. "But it was more than that. It was like, the angrier I got, the stronger I felt." Sage said. "So it is anger, then. Derek's right." Scott said. "I can't be around Allison." Sage said. "I don't see the problem." Conner said shrugging. "Just because she makes you happy?" Stiles asked. "No, because she makes me weak." Sage said. "And Scott with Emilie?" Conner asked. "Millie is my mate, Derek says a wolf's mate, makes the wolf happy and stronger." Scott said. "All right, so you stay away from her for a few days. You can do that." Stiles said. "But is it a few days, or is it forever?" Sage asked. "You know, this whole women make you weak thing is a little too Spartan warrior for me." Conner said. "It's probably just part of the learning process." I said. "Yeah, but you've seen Derek. I mean, the guy's totally alone. What if I can, like, never be around her again?" Sage said. "Like I think it's not a bad thing." Conner said. "Well, if you're not dead, that could be a good thing." I said to the boy. "I'd rather be dead." Sage said. "You're not gonna end up like Derek, all right? We'll figure it out." Scott said. "Okay." Sage said. "Come on. Let's get out of here, and I need to return this to Coach Finstock." Conner said taking the phone I stole. "What he keeps telling me how to take pictures of the lacrosse boys." I said. I was now sitting in the boys locker room with the four guys. "Something smells terrible in here." Scott said. "Really? in a boys' locker room?" I asked. "That doesn't make any sense at all." Stiles said with me. "No, it's like something's rotting or dying." Sage said. We walked in to economics class. "Let's go. Sit, sit, sit, sit. We got a lot to cover today. Let's go.  Quicker." Coach Finstock said. "Hey, Stiles, sit behind me, dude." Sage said, but Stiles sat behind Grace as the two locked hands. "Hey." Sage said to Allison. "Hey. I haven't seen you all day." Allison said. "Uh, yeah. I've been super busy." Sage said. "When are you gonna get your phone fixed? I feel like I'm totally disconnected from you." Allison said. "Uh, soon. Real soon." Sage said. "I changed lab partners, by the way." Allison said. "To who?" Sage asked. "To you, dummy." Allison said. "Me? I mean, are you sure?" Sage asked. "Yeah. This way I have an excuse to bring you home and study." Allison said. "Oh." Sage said. "You don't mind, do you?" Allison asked him. "I just... I don't want to bring your grade down." Sage said. "What's your grade?" I asked Scott. "B, you're a good tutor." Scott said to me smiling. "Let's settle down. Let's start with a quick summary of last night's reading. Greenberg, put your hand down. Everybody knows you did the reading." Coach Finstock said and Greenberg put his hand down. "How about, uh..." Conner trailed off looking at us. "McCall." Coach Finstock said. "Which one?" Scott and Sage asked. Coach Finstock pointed at Sage. "What?" Sage asked. "The reading." Conner said. "Last night's reading?" Sage asked. "How about
the reading of The Gettysburg Address?" Coach Finstock said with sarcasm. "What?" Sage asked highly confused. "That's sarcasm. You familiar with the term Sarcasm, McCall?" Coach Finstock asked. "Very." Sage said. "Did you do the reading or not?" Conner asked. "Um... I think I forgot." Sage said smiling. "Nice work, McCall. It's not like you're not averaging a D in this class while your twin is getting an A. Come on, buddy. You know I can't keep you on the team if you have a D. How about you summarize the previous night's reading? No? How about the night before that? How about you summarize anything you've ever read in your entire life?" Coach Finstock said and Scott grabbed my hand and I rubbed my finger over his knuckles. "I..." Sage trailed off. "No? A blog? How about... How about the back of a cereal box? No? How about the adults-only warning from your favorite website you visit every night? Anything? Thank you, McCall, thank you. Thank you, McCall! Thank you for extinguishing any last flicker of hope I have for your generation. You just blew it for everybody. Thanks. Next practice you can start with suicide runs. Unless that's too much reading." Coach Finstock said and Conner looked at Coach's phone. "All right. Everybody else, settle down." Conner said we were leaving and Conner ran up to us. "It's her." Conner said. "What do you mean?" Sage asked. "It's Allison." Conner said. "Remember what you told us about the night of the full moon? You were thinking about her, right?" I asked. "About protecting her." Sage said. "Okay. Remember the night of the first lacrosse game? You said you could hear her voice out on the field." Stiles said. "Yeah, I did." Sage said. "Well, so that's what brought you back so you could score. And then after the game in the locker room, you didn't kill her." Scott said. "At least not like how you were trying to kill us." I said. "She brings you back, is what we're saying." Stiles said. "No, no, no, but it's not always true, because literally every time I'm kissing her or touching her..." Sage trailed off. "No, that's not the same. When you're doing that, you're just another hormonal teenager thinking about sex, you know?" Conner said, and Sage and Scott started smiling for some reason and Scott was looking at me. "You're thinking about sex right now, aren't you?" Stiles said.  "Yeah. Sorry..." Sage said. "Well more like Millie naked." Scott said. "That's fine. Look, back in the classroom when she was holding your hand, that was different, okay?" I said smiling. "I don't think she makes you weak. I think she actually gives you control. She's kind of like an anchor." Conner said to him. "You mean because I love her." Sage said to us smiling. "Exactly." Scott said. "Did I just say that?" Sage asked. "Yes, you just said that." Conner said. "I love her." Sage said. "That's great. Now, moving on..." Stiles trailed off. "No, no, no, really. I think I'm totally in love with her. And that's beautiful. Now, before you go off and write a sonnet, can we figure this out, please? Because you obviously can't be around her all the time." Stiles said. "So no more punching." I said. "Yes Love, no more punching." Scott said. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. So what do I do?" Sage asked. "I don't know. Yet." Stiles said. "Oh, no. You're getting an idea, aren't you?" Conner said looking at me. "Yeah." I said. "Is this idea gonna get me in trouble?" Sage asked. "Maybe." I said. "Is this idea gonna cause us physical pain?" Scott asked looking down at me. "Knowing Emmy, yeah." Stiles said. "Come on." I said and we walked outside and I found one of the wrestlers cars. "What are we doing?" Sage asked. "You'll see. Hold on." I said. "Okay." Scott said. "Stand right there. Do you have your keys?" I asked. They nodded and held them up. "Perfect. Hold'em up like so." I said, Stiles smirked knowing what I was doing. "Now, whatever happens, just think about Allison and Emmy." Stiles said. "Try to find her voice, like you did at the game." Conner said. "Got it?" Stiles asked and they nodded. "Okay. Just keep holding it right there." I said and grabbed Stiles key and mine and keyed the dudes car. "Hey, hey, hey!" The man yelled. "What do you think you're doing to that truck, Em!" Conner asked. "What the hell?" The wrestler asked and saw Scott and Sage and punched them both. "Ow! My God. Wow." Scott said. "You're fine, you heal quickly." I said. "Where did you find that out?" Conner asked. "A cassette Derek gave me, apparently it will tell how a wolf's mate should be like." I said, granted I hated some of the things but it did provide valuable insight on werewolves. School was over and I was in my bedroom watching anime on my laptop, my phone dinged, I looked at it.
Big bro:You and Izzy need to get to the school.
Lil sis:Okay.
I got off my laptop and grabbed my bag, I found Isabelle on the couch. "We need to go to the school come on." I said. "Okay." Isabelle said. We got in and she drove. "Hopefully nothing too bad will happen." I said. "Emmy do you know what we're doing?" Isabelle asked. "No." I said, we pulled into the school and saw Scott, Sage, and Stiles. "So why are we here?" I asked getting out. "Well Deaton might be the alpha." Scott said. "Are you joking?" Isabelle asked. "What do you mean?" Sage asked. "Guys your boss is the nicest man I met." I said. "Yeah he lets Emmy and I cuddle the animals to calm them." Isabelle said. "Derek's here." Stiles said seeing a nice car pull up. "Where's our boss?" Sage asked. "He's in the back." Derek said showing us the unconscious duct taped Deaton. "Oh, he looks comfortable." I said. I saw Derek got his claws out. "Wait. Hey. What are you doing?" Sage asked. "You said Sage and I were linked with the Alpha. I'm gonna see if you're right." Scott said. We were now trying to get in. "Any idea on how to get in?" Sage asked. I took a Bobby pin and picked the lock. "There." I said. They walked in and I walked over to Derek. "Why do I feel like they are going to be morons." Derek said. "They're not total idiots." I said. "Oh man it's like talking to a miniature Belle." Derek said. "Shut up Hale, I remember being in school with you." Isabelle said. "Wait really?" I asked. "Yeah, kinda odd that I dated a werewolf." Isabelle said. "Oh yeah, glad that didn't work out." Derek said. I nodded weirded out. We than heard a shrill howl. "You've got to be kidding me." I said. "Not total idiots." Derek said to me. I shot him a glare that made him back up a little. "That sounded like a cat being choked to death." Isabelle said. We than heard an actual Wolf howl they, came out to see us. "I'm gonna kill the three of you. What the hell was that? What are you trying to do, attract the entire state to the school?" Derek said pissed off. "Sorry. We didn't know it would be that loud." Scott said. "Yeah, it was loud. And it was awesome." Stiles said. "Shut up." Derek said. "Don't be such a sour-wolf." Isabelle said. We than heard low growling. "Wishful thinking but is that someone's stomach?" I asked. "What'd you do with him?" Sage asked and we saw Deaton was gone. "We didn't do anything." Derek said.

A\N:New Chapter and since Beacon Hills is such a small town it should be given that Isabelle and Derek knew each other in school before the Hale house fire. I just thought if they used to date would be hilarious.
