Emilie's POV
I was staring at this psychotic killer. "No - I'm not just letting you leave then here." Stiles said. "You both don't have a choice, Stiles. You're coming with me." Peter said. "Just kill me. Look, I don't care anymore." Stiles said. "Call your friend. Tell Jackson where she is. That's all you get." Peter said. "No, I'll go with you but let Stiles help them." I said. "Fine." Peter said and grabbed me leaving Stiles. I was now in his car as he drove. "Don't feel bad. If they lives, they'll become a werewolf. They'llbe incredibly powerful." Peter said. "Yeah, and once a month, they'll go out of their freaking mind and try to tear my brother apart." I said. "Well, actually, considering that they're women - twice a month." Peter said. "That doesn't make me feel better." I said glaring at the man. "Wow you remind me of Laura and Talia." Peter said. "Your sister and niece?" I asked. "Yes, but I can't kill you." Peter said. "Because I'm a mate." I said. "Yes." Peter said and we got in a parking garage and to a trunk. "Whose car is this?" I asked. "It belonged to my nurse." Peter said. "What happened to your n - Oh, my God!" I yelled seeing a dead body. "I got better." Peter said getting a laptop out. "Good luck getting a signal down here. Oh, MiFi. And you're a Mac guy. Does that go for all werewolves, or just a personal preference?" I said raising an eyebrow. "Turn it on. Get connected." Peter said. "You know, you're really killing the whole werewolf mystique thing here. Look, you still need Sage's username and password, and I'm sorry, but I don't know them." I said. "You know both of them." Peter said. "No, I don't." I said. "Even if I couldn't hear your heartbeat, I would still be able to tell that you're lying." Peter said. "Dude, I swear to God." I said glaring. "I can be very persuasive, Emilie. Don't make me persuade you." Peter said. "What happens after you find Derek?" I asked. "Don't think, Emilie. Type." Peter said. "You're gonna kill people, aren't you?" I asked. "Only the responsible ones." Peter said. "Look, if I do this, you have to promise to leave Scott and Sage out of it." I said. "Do you know why wolves hunt in packs? It's because their favorite prey are too large to be brought down by one wolf alone. I need Derek, Sage, and Scott. I need the three of them." Peter said. "They're not gonna help you." I said. "Oh, they will. Because it'll save Allison and you. And you will, because it will save Scott and Sage. Your boyfriend and best friend whom you know so well, you even have his username and password." Peter said. "Fine." I said and typed in the username and password. "His username is Allison? His password is also Allison?" Peter asked. "Still want him in your pack?" I asked and Peter slammed my head on the car trunk. "Still gonna be smart?" He asked. "Wait, what the - That's where they're keeping him? At his own house?" I asked. "Not at it. Under it. I know exactly where that is. And I'm not the only one." Peter said. "So you're a villian with an underground lair, nice." I said. "Don't you understand yet? I'm not the bad guy here." Peter said. "You turn into a giant monster with red eyes and fangs, and you're not the bad guy here?" I asked this crazy man. "I like you, Emilie. Since you've helped me, I'm going to give you something in return. Do you want the bite?" Peter said. "What?" I asked. "Do you want the bite? If it doesn't kill you - and it could - you'll become like us." Peter said to me. "Like you." I said. "Yes, a werewolf. Would you like me to draw you a picture? That first night in the woods, I took Scott and Sage because I needed a new pack. It could've easily been you and your brother. You'd be every bit as powerful as them. No more standing by their side, watching them become stronger, and quicker, more popular, watching Sage get the girl and Scott leaving you. You'd be equals. Maybe more. Yes or no?" Peter said. I kicked him in the nuts. "Scott won't leave me I'm his mate." I said. "Damn." Peter groaned. "I don't wanna be like you." I said. "Do you know what I heard just then? Your heart beating slightly faster over the words I don't want. You may believe that you're telling me the truth, but you are lying to yourself. Goodbye, Emilie." Peter said and left. I ran upstairs and saw Stiles, Dad, and Jackson. "Hold it. You know what? It's good that we're in a hospital, because I'm gonna kill you too." Dad said. "I'm - I'm sorry, but what did I do?" I asked. "I told Dad you were with me when I found Grace and Lydia." Stiles said. "Did you see anything? I mean, do you have any idea who or what attacked them?" Dad asked. "No. No, I have no idea." I said. "What about Scott or Sage?" Dad asked and my eyes widened. "What do you mean? What about him?" I asked. "Did they see anything?" Dad asked. "What do you - is they're not here?" I asked. "What are you talking about? I've been calling him on his cell phone. I've gotten no response." Dad said. "Yeah, you're not gonna get one." Stiles said. "Stiles, Emmy. Listen, just go wait with your friends, all right?" Dad said. "Dad, tell me. Look, you know it has something to do with Derek." Stiles said. "What? But I thought you four said you barely knew him." Dad said. "All right, we might know him a little better than that." I said. "You two do realize that I'm elected to this job, right?" Dad said. "And if I help you figure this out, you'll be re - elected. Am I right? Dad, come on." Stiles said. "You know what? That girl in there has got nothing to do with a six - year - old arson case." Dad said. "When did you decide it was definitely arson?" I asked. "When we got a key witness. And, no, I'm not telling you two who it is, but yeah, yeah, we know it's arson. And it was probably organized by a young woman." Dad said to us. "What young woman?" Stiles asked. "If I knew that, she'd be in jail." Dad said. "Was she young then, or is she young now?" I asked. "She's probably in her late 20s." Dad said. "Well that is helpful." I said and the phone rang. "Oh, I gotta grab this call." Dad said. "You don't know her name?" Stiles asked. "No, I don't - What is this? 20 questions? All we know is that she had a very distinctive - What do you call it - a pendant." Dad said. "What the hell's a pendant?" Stiles asked, I face palmed. "Stiles, do you go to school?" Dad asked. "A pendant! A pendant! It's a necklace." I said. "Now, can I answer the phone?" Dad asked. "Yes." Stiles said. "Thank you. Stilinski. Yeah." Dad said. Stiles and I looked at Jackson. "Hey, where are you going?" Jackson asked us. "To find Scott and Sage." I said. "You don't have a car." Jackson said. "What happened to your car?" I asked. "The tires were slashed." Stiles said. "Here, I'll drive. Come on." Jackson said. "Wow you have a heart." I said. "Look, just because you feel guilty all of a sudden doesn't make it okay, all right? Half of this is still your fault." Stiles said. "Look, I have a car. You don't. Do you want my help or not?" Jackson said. "All right. Did you bring the Porsche?" I asked. "Yeah." Jackson said. "Good. I'll drive." I aske taking his keys. "Kids. I was wondering if you can tell me where Scott and Sage McCall are." Mr. Argent said with Conner. "Scott and Sage McCall? Uhm, haven't seen him since the dance. Jackson, you?" Stiles asked. "I..." Jackson trailed off. "Oh, for the love of God." I said. "Let's try this again. Where is Scott and Sage McCall? Since my son won't tell me." Mr. Argent said. "They're my players, Dad." Conner said to him. "Let me ask you a question, Stiles and Emilie. Have you ever seen a rabid dog?" Mr. Argent asked. "No. We could put it on my to - do - list, if you just let us go." I said. "Well, I have. And the only thing I've ever been able to compare it to is seeing a friend of mine turn on a full moon. Do you wanna know what happened?" Mr. Argent said. "Not really. No offense to your storytelling skills." Stiles said shrugging. "He tried to kill me, and I was forced to put a bullet in his head. The whole while that he lay there dying, he was still trying to claw his way toward me, still trying to kill me, like it was the most important thing he could do with his last breath. Can you imagine that?" Mr. Argent said. "No. And it sounds like you need to be a little bit more select..." I trailed off. "Did Scott and Sage try to kill you on the full moon? Did you have to lock them up?" Mr. Argent said. "Scott was just over affectionate and wanted sex." I said. "What about Sage?" Mr. Argent asked. "Yeah, I did. I had to handcuff him to a radiator. Why? Would you prefer I locked him in the basement and burned the whole house down around them?" Stiles asked. "I hate to dispel a popular rumor, Stiles, but we never did that." Mr. Argent said. "Oh, right. Derek said you guys had a code. I guess no one ever breaks it." I said. "Never." Mr. Argent said. "What if someone does?" I asked. "Someone like who?" Mr. Argent asked. "Your sister." I said. "Come on." Mr. Argent said and grabbed me. "What is with people taking me." I said. "Sorry." He said and got me in his car and he handed me a gun. "Just incase." He said. "I don't know how to shoot." I lied, Dad taught me how to shoot as a kid. "Come on." Mr. Argent said. "Fine." I said sighing. We got to the Hale house and we got out and I saw Scott and Sage with an arrow in them. "Scott!" I yelled and they saw us. "Kate! I know what you did. Put the gun down." Mr. Argent said. "I did what I was told to do." Kate said. "No one asked you to murder innocent people. There were children in that house, ones who were human." I said and she shot me, I feel since it hit my leg. "Don't hurt her!" Scott roared. "Look what you're doing now. You're holding a gun at a 16 - year - old boys with no proof he spilled human blood and shot a human girl. We go by the code - Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent." Mr. Argent said. "We hunt those who hunt us." Allison said. "Put the gun down. Before I put you down. Allison, get back." Mr. Argent said. Allison ran over and helped me up and I was next to Scott he grabbed me from Allison, we heard a growl. "What is it?" Allison said. "It's the Alpha." I said. "Come on! Come on!" Kate said. "No!" Allison refused. "She is beautiful, Kate. She looks like you. Probably not as damaged. So I'm going to give you a chance to save her. Apologize. Say that you're sorry for decimating my family, for leaving me burned and broken for six years. Say it - And I'll let her live." Peter said. "I'm sorry." Kate said. "I don't know about you, Allison, but that apology - didn't sound very sincere." Peter said. "Run!" Sage yelled. "Dad. Dad. Dad." Allison said as Peter killed Kate, not too sad about that. "Hey!" Jackson and Stiles yelled and threw a Molotov cocktail. "Yes, finally!"Stiles yelled. "Great everyone is alive." Conner said. Derek went up to Peter. "Wait! You said the cure comes from the one who bit you. Derek. If you do this, I'm dead. Her father, her family - what am I supposed to do?" Scott said. "You've - already - decided. I can smell it on you!" Peter said. "Wait! No, no! Don't!" Sage yelled as Derek clawed his neck. "I'm the Alpha now." Derek said. "Yes and I have a bullet wound in my leg." I said. "Get her to the hospital." Mr. Argent said, Scott stood up and picked me up. I was now in the hospital as Ms. McCall looked at my leg. "How did you get shot again?" She asked. "I walked outside for some air and Kate Argent told me where Derek Hale was, when I said no, she shot me." I half truthed. She nodded and got the bullet out. "Your sister left clothes for you to change into." She said and I changed in the clothes.

I saw Dad walk in. "You good?" He asked. "Yeah, the wound will heal." I said and he hugged me. "I'm sorry that I'm not there for you or tell you about your mother." He said. "Dad it's fine." I said. "You and Izzy are like her a lot, always see the other side of things, nothing is just black and white." He said. I smiled and hugged him. We left and I was in bed reading Ouran High School Host Club, Dad was making me stay home from school for a week. I saw the door open and saw Allison. "Hey EJ, I thought to bring your homework." She said. "Good, my Dad makes Scott leave it at the doorstep." I said. She laughed. "Well Lydia and Grace aren't dead." She said. "Good." I told my new friend. "Hey can I hang out here, the house is getting crowded with family I don't know." She said. "Sure, but be warned, I will make you watch anime." I said and got my laptop and turned on Netflix and clicked on Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood. I smiled at my new friend who wasn't a guy.
