the next week, ludo walked the halls proudly with the words i am a bigmouth brat written on her hand. harry's hand said i must not tell lies. but both of their hands were free of pain due to ludo's talent with the quill. 

incidentally, hermione ignored ludo the entire week. hermione couldn't bare to talk to the girl after she saw carla and ludo kiss at the party, and on top of it, hug in the hallway. deep down, she knew she was being insensitive by ignoring the girl, but her jealousy and stubbornness prevailed once again. hermione granger might've been the brightest witch of her age, but her recent emotions towards ludo was so new, that she didn't know how else to handle it. on top of that, hermione always thought that she was completely straight, and these recent emotions have been causing an internal battle in her head about her sexuality. by virtue of this, she decided ignoring the green-eyed beauty would help her wash away her strong feelings towards the girl. but to hermione's annoyance and sorrow, the longer she steered clear of ludo, the more she missed her. "i can't keep doing this, but she doesn't like me that way. i can't keep hurting myself because of a girl who has a girlfriend."

meanwhile, ludo was getting more and more frustrated at hermione. she tried multiple times to get hermione to talk to her, whether in class or in the halls, and it just didn't seem to work. the worst part was that ludo had no idea why hermione was ignoring her. what could i have done? i mean i know i kissed carla at the party, but that was a game and she literally kissed ron. i mean at least i could tell she didn't want to kiss the ginger. couldn't she tell that i didn't enjoy my kiss either. again with her fucking stubbornness, bloody hell. 

ludo was spending a lot of her time with her slytherin friends, ander, and luna. surprisingly, luna grew to the liking of the slytherins, and they enjoyed her dreamy presence. on top of that, ludo could tell that luna had her eye on a certain slytherin girl. ludo was hoping carla would return this crush. they would look so cute together. it was fun chatting, laughing, and spending time with her friends, but ludo just needed to talk to hermione. 

ander, niccolo, and luna knew of ludo's crush. ludo was sure that carla also knew due to their earlier conversation. she wanted to come out to the whole group about her interest in hermione, due to everyone's concern for the girl. the past week ludo wasn't like herself. she would go out and skate on the school grounds with her notebook in her hand, as well as her puff bar. the past week she went through so many puff bars that fred and george had to give her a talk.
