∼ Time skip to the bridge ∼
"Okay. Once we cross this bridge, it's only an hour to the palace." Pacha said as he walked across the bridge, Kuzco following close behind and (Y/N) standing on the edge just before the bridge.
"Good, because believe it or not, I think I need a bath." Kuzco commented.
"I believe it," agreed (Y/N).
"Oh, ha ha. Very funny."
Pacha then spoke up, "(Y/N), what are you doing?"
"You know how I feel about this bri-"
Suddenly one of the planks breaks as Pacha steps on it causing him to fall through and get stuck on some ropes.
"Dad! Are you ok?" (Y/N) called out.
"Yeah, I'm fine! Kuzco! Help me up!"
"No. I don't think I will."
"What?!" asked (Y/N), outraged.
"So you're going to leave me here?" asked Pacha.
"Well, I was going to have you imprisoned for life, but I kind of like this better."
"I thought you changed," remarked (Y/N).
"Well I had to say something to get you two to take me back to the city."
"So you lied?"
"Well, yeah. No, wait. Yeah, yeah. It was all a lie. Tootles."
Pacha shouted out, "We shook hands on it!"
"You know, the funny thing about shaking hands is... You need hands."
"Oh you little bit-" fumed (Y/N).
"Okay. Buh-bye."
As Kuzco takes a step, that plank breaks too, causing him to be stuck hanging by ropes as well. Pacha asks Kuzco if he is ok, and when Kuzco responds with a positive, Pacha punches him.
"That's for going back on your promise!"
He goes to punch Kuzco again until Kuzco kicks him away, responding, "Yeah. That's for kidnapping me and taking me to your village... Which I'm still gonna destroy, by the way."
The two continue arguing and fighting as (Y/N) just kinda stands there, not sure what to do in the situation. After calling out that he is going to get some vines to help them up, or at least Pacha up, he runs off into to the jungle. Meanwhile, the bridge completely breaks, sending Pacha and Kuzco falling down until they get stuck right above alligator infested waters. Together, they work their way up to the top, where (Y/N) comes back with an armful of thick vines.
"You're back! And ok!" (Y/N) runs to Pacha giving him a big hug.
The ground begins to shake underneath the two as the end of the cliff breaks off. Kuzco grabs Pacha's poncho and drags him back up with (Y/N) in Pacha's arms. Kuzco celebrates saving the two until Pacha speaks up.
"You just saved our lives."
"Huh? So?"
"I knew it."
"Knew what?"
"That there was some good in you after all."
The two argue until Kuzco claims that nobody's that heartless, causing him to gasp.
