~ 3rd person POV ~

Kuzco walks through the halls on the palace with the old man he had thrown out the window.

"Now you stop being hard on yourself. All is forgiven."

     "You're sure?"

"Oh, it's not the first time I was thrown out a window, and it won't be the last. What can I say? I'm a rebel."

The old man shows how much of a rebel he is before they say their goodbyes and the old man leaves. Kuzco turns to see Pacha and (Y/N) looking at the model of their village,    (Y/N) with wide eyes as it was the first time he saw it and Pacha with sad eyes.

"So, Pacha, you lied to me."

Both men turn to look at an upset Kuzco with confused looks.

     "I did?" Pacha asked.

"Yeah. You said that when the sun hits the ridge just right, these hills sing. Well, I was dragged all over those hills, and I did not hear any singing. So, I'll building my summer home on a more magical hill. Thank you."

"Couldn't pull the wool over your eyes, huh." Pacha said with a chuckle.

"No, no, I'm sharp, I'm on it. Looks like you and your family is stuck on that tuneless hilltop forever."

Kuzco sat down, looking a little upset about his summerhouse.

"You know Kuzco," (Y/N) spoke, " I think I heard some singing on the hill next to us. Just in case you're interested."

~ Time Skip ~

Kuzco, Pacha, (Y/N), and the rest of their family bonded at Kuzco's new summer home: swimming, Kuzco getting a llama poncho, family hugs, all that jazz. After the hug, (Y/N) pulls Kuzco close, one hand on Kuzco's hip and the other under his chin, and kisses him. Kuzco stiffens up like a board and falls backward as a blushing mess, causing everyone to laugh.

     Ah, yes. Happily ever after.
