Life on the bebop

You laid on the yellow couch and repaired to take a nap, you'd been living on the Bebop for a couple of months at this point. After your first day, you hadn't gone along to collect the bounty for the gang boss but you probably should've because Faye a Spike ended up botching the bounty big time. The gang boss had managed to get away but the bounties of a couple of thugs were enough to keep the Bebop running for a while longer.

Another thing you'd learned between then and now was that there was another crewmate. Ed, as she called herself was quite the hacker. Her mannerisms were a little odd but she was fun to be around and awfully smart. Apparently, she was also from earthing who hitched a ride, much to the dismay of the rest of the crew at the time.

Also during this time, you'd gotten much closer with Spike, almost to the point where you'd consider him a close friend. It was almost the complete opposite with Faye on the other hand. She often ran away with all the Woolong and anything else she could make off with. Then you'd have to spend the next week or so tracking her down and being disappointed when you learned she'd already spent all the money. It was a vicious cycle but you and Spike started making a game out of it.

The rule was whoever found Faye got to keep whatever she wasted the money on. This was how Spike ended up with a closet full of delightfully colorful booty shorts and dresses. He would ceremoniously gifted them to you whenever you got a bounty just to get rid of them even though you weren't really sure that you wanted them either.

Not to say you hated Faye, you just weren't very fond of when she stole all your stuff and ran away. To be fair she was pretty fun to have around sometimes. She admittedly had a better sense of humor compared to Spike or Jet and she didn't react as upset when you talked about your thievery.

"Dinner's ready!" Jet yelled throughout the ship, you'd just collected a pretty good bounty so you were excited to see what Jet had made.

You sat and chatted with Jet over bell peppers and beef as you waited for everyone else to slowly trickle in. Eventually, everyone sat in the same room eating. You sat on the couch with Spike, Faye sat on the chair across from you, Ed sat on the floor, and Jet sat on the ledge you'd been tied to your first day on the Bebop. You all sat around talking about various bounties and reminiscing.

All the talk of bounties made you remember something, "I got something for everyone to celebrate our recent bounty, wait here," You said running off to your room. You'd grabbed a couple bottles of whiskey from a planet you'd visited recently along with some candy for Ed because you didn't want to upset her.

You returned to the living area with your presents. "Drinks for us and candy for Ed," You said triumphantly was you emerged from the entrance. Ed cheered and ran up to grabbed her present from you. Jet got up and grabbed some glasses for everyone. You set down the bottle and sat back down next to Spike.

Spike picked up the bottle and inspected it, "How'd you afford this?" He asked noticing that it wasn't just any cheap booze.

"I used my amazing charisma and my incredibly sticky fingers,"

"That's how you do it!" Faye chimed in, "why buy it when they're practically asking for you to steal it,"

"Hey, careful now. I'm not above turning either of you in if somebody puts a bounty on your head," Spike said setting the whiskey back down on the table.

"But then you'd miss us," You teased,

"There won't be time to miss you when I'm drowning in woolong,"

You and Faye made a couple more snide remarks before Jet placed some cups on the table and you all began drinking. Everyone had a good time and slowly retired to their rooms until it was just you, Spike and Ein left. Neither of you were sober but Spike was definitely worse off when compared to you. You could barely understand half the things he said. And even when you could differentiate his words he was speaking pure nonsense. You thought it was hilarious but he didn't enjoy you laughing at him so you did your best to conceal your laughter. Eventually though, you both passed out on the couch.
